From the description, it sounds like you need to do a good deal of research before getting into mechs. Familiarize yourself with ohms law, battery safety, and rebuilding techniques. Youtube is the best place to learn how to build coils. If you're having trouble wrapping them you can pick up a Coil Gizmo at Michael's. I use mine to pre-wrap a bunch of coils so I can simply remove the old coil and pop a new one in.
