New to the forum. Started vaping in June, but had my last cig (really!!!!!) July 31.

Was wondering about opinions on the EMOW 1300 batteries. I've been using some 650's and a couple of Lux eGo C Twist 1000's. I like the footprint of the 1300 (shorter and fatter) but the battery life is not what I expected. Or maybe because it is a dual coil it is only good for about 6 hours or so of hard vaping???

I bought an eMOW boxed starter kit for the above. Previously using a couple different eVOD clearomizers, lately with 1.8 ohm coils. Those are nice except when they run low on juice they leak. The eMow does not leak (yet) so I like it except for the rather short battery life.

Hi Neil, and welcome aboard!

I don't use the models you specify, but yes, dual coils will chew through a battery faster than singles. So if that's the only concern you have about them, it's pretty normal.

Evods are a fine topper, and as you experience, MAY leak when low. Sometimes changing the flavor wicks can help with that. The T3S is similar, but bigger, and vapes about the same. Holding nearly twice as much, it's a longer time before they get low enough to think about leaking

Thanks for the tips. When I first got the EMOW I was not successful getting my other Ego style batteries to work with the clearomizer. If I tightened the battery, nothing happened or the LED blinked when I hit the On button (forget which). If I loosened it enough, it would work but was too loose to work properly. But I just tried it with a couple of batteries and it is working fine. So I will compare run times with my usual chain vaping.

I think it's a great idea, I just posted about it on another thread. Looks slick & it's a great place to start out. I have always been happy with Kanger's newer dual coils. Just noticed a burnt taste on my aerotank mega & realized I am still using the first coil. I've been using it heavy for 5 weeks!!

Got it at https://www.misthub.com/product/kanger-emow-starter-kit/

$44.95 for the 1300 kit, then 15% off with the code ECF15. Got the kit & one extra tank for $55.23. Free sipping on orders over $40. Seems like a good deal but I didn't spend all day looking around. Might be better out there but I know there are many higher prices as well.

Haven't tried it, just ordered it, but I expect it to be rather plug & play & easy to understand for a new vaper.

Seems like a solid deal to me

Ordered a Nautilus Mini yesterday. Hope it vapes as well as its big brother!

Now I'm looking at 18650 style mods. This is a disease, but probably not as bad a disease as smoking!

Right you are! Shiny-i-tis, aka GAD and some other monikers as well (lots of names for it, as it's VERY pervasive and infectious!) is generally not fatal, like smoking. Unless you spend your food budget...

46 days and not a puff of the evil weed

Still think about a smoke from time to time, but I'm no longer suicidal about it  (that part really is getting better)

Ordered a Provari V2.5 today. Didn't want to wait for the P3 and the idea of paying any more was too unappealing. Ordered 3x18650 and 2x18490 cells. THAT should keep me electrified for an entire day or two... LOL. Enjoying my Nautilus and Nautilus mini. Although sometimes the mini does not vape well, for mysterious reasons and then comes back to life, for mysterious reasons. But mainly I use the full Size Nautilus and that has been good and reliable until the coil gets weak.

Gotta stop buying hardware. This is not a hobby... this is not a hobby... this is not a hobby (repeat 100 times)
