I've got a Twist on the way too. All I ordered was a 1000mah battery and a T3 and a few replacement coils. Didn't think to order a charger. I've got a 1.5A charger from smokeless image. The info sticker that's on the wall charger reads:
Input: 100-240VAC 50-60Hz 0.3A
Output: 5.0VDC 1-1.5A
is this safe/optimal for the eGo Twist?

btw, not that it matters, but I ordered the Twist and the T3 because the CE3s that I'd been using with my Volt X2 from smokeless image have gone to total crap. The CE3s that is, not the X2. Everyone in SI-land is waiting on their own version of the T3 but I'm impatient. Having gone back to regular old cartos is kind of a bummer. I sorely miss the flavor and vapor production.

I did the same thing for the same reason even though I will be getting one of SI's T3's whenever they finally come in. When I ordered my twist, I also ordered the Joytech ego fast charger AND another wall adapter because I don't think SI's wall adapter puts out enough power. The USB wall plug for the twist reads:
Input: AC110-240v 50/60Hz 0.15A
Output: DC 5.0V+/-0.5V 500mA+/-50mA

It doesn't take nearly as long to charge as the X2. That's a plus in my book. Also the T2 and T3 is fabulous on the twist. I still love my X2's but wanted to be able to use the T3's that I had bought to use with the X2's + adapter but it was just too airy for me and the flavor was not as powerful as it is on the twist. I just HAD to get another twist to go with all the T2's & T3's that I had... and love this combo. :thumb: You know what they say.... you can't have too much vaping equipment!

Yep JoAnn, your post was one of the reasons I went with the Twist. I'm really looking forward to getting mine. It should be here tomorrow. Was hoping for today but it's still sitting somewhere at a sort facility in NC. I'll also be getting SI's version of the T3 tanks. I went with the Twist because I figured since I was buying a 510-threaded battery, it might as well be variable voltage as well. Now that I've got 808 and 510 threads covered, I can also try out other vaping doo-dads that I've been eyeballing. REALLY wish they hadn't screwed around with the CE3s though. That was my joint! (as the kids say)

Been diggin the Twist for a few days now. You do have to fiddle around with the voltage for different juices. I'm getting the hang of it. Anyone got any pointers on what to do with juices that have a sorta....slightly alcoholic aftertaste? I mean as in sugar alcohol. It's nothing severe and it's only on a few juices, across several vendors. And I get that slight gugling noise and a "wet hit" every now and then too. I know I read about a technique to mitigate that somewhere on these boards....
