Why does the eGo-C get such a bad rap on this site?

It's not a Twist but I did get an Upgrade PT today. In unregulated mode and plugged in it produced more vapor, heated up the cone faster but I can't say it helped the melon at all.
I was hopeful because most flavors have been bland the last 2 days. But I can't say it made it lose any flavor either.

I had mixed the orange and coconut 50/50 which toned both down to make it a good every day vape at regulated power. With the higher voltage it brighted both and made the orange stand out. Good to my dead taste buds but maybe too heavy for normal days. Time will tell.

The coconut by itself does blend much better at the higher voltage with the coconut being moved more towards the back and the pineapple comes up. This one will be interesting with the Twist to be able to fine tune it to be exactly what I want.

The orange is close to what I predicted. It didn't bring the tobacco out but the difference is like tasting orange juice vs tasting orange peel. It wasn't good.

The tobacco I was hoping it would darken didn't really change although was more flavorful.

The one I can't taste is tasteable but that's about it. I can't really ID it as chocolate. That one will definitely be going on the Twist until the bottle is gone.

The menthol tastes burnt. Like I can't get anything but dry burns but the tank is low enough it should be flowing great. My guess is it's bringing the tobacco flavor forward.

More power is pretty much what I expected. It will help some, hurt some and not really change some.

Is anyone else having problems with Tasty Vapor's German Chocolate Cake on the Ego-C? I've used it (70/30) on all Ego types for almost two years and had no problem, but I've gone through about a dozen or so Ego-Cs and each one of them (from different sources) has severe wicking issues within a day of use. I invariably have to remove wick strands from the atty within a tank or so; so gunked up do they get.

It's apparent that you've found a juice that just isn't going to work (too thick, sugary, dark, etc.).
