Hi everyone, am new to vaping and was introduced as an alternative for my heavy smoking habit. Just purchased an EC Ego L and was impressed to see the effect instantly. I cut down from appx 30 sticks/day to 10 sticks/day in a day. It had since be with me for 4 days now and I only smoke cigarette socially (3-5 sticks/day) and looking forward to staying cigarette-free by next week. As I am still new, would be glad if fellow old timers could teach me more pointers on how to vape for better effect and style.:p Nice to meet all of you guys!

One thing I found was it was the habits that go along side of smoking that were tougher to break than the smoking itself. I had to work out a few things.

The morning cig. That craving was giving me fits. SO I found a nice menthol juice in a slightly higher nic level and I vape that the first 10 minutes of the day. Habit beat. :)

The after supper cig. This one was a little tougher. What I did was find a dessert juice that I really liked. I treat this sort of like the old fashioned after supper brandy and smoke ritual that was so big in the victorian era. I SAVOR the flavor of the vape after supper like you would a Grande Marnier. In essence I traded on ritual for another. ;)

Over time you will work out what your own trouble times and habits are. Just be open to being creative to work around them.

Hey! Welcome to the forum eh, and congrats on switching.
You've reduced the harm you've been doing to yourself with cigs. already.
Cigs taste like crap, vape tastes nice, you should find it easy to vape and not smoke with a little time.
Great suggestions above BTW. like that!

You can put an evod on that ego, I'd try one if you haven't yet, they're nice.(cheap too)
