Hey Kernol here,,, I am new to vaping. Just purchased my first device and its on its way.
Analog smoker for 23 years. I hope to be free in a few days when my devices comes in.
I got the e-cig e8 anyone have any information on these? The guys in my office have them is the reason why I purchased this one but am thinking after reading this forum I maybe should have purchased something else...

I did indeed contact them. It was a bit of a struggle but they sounded as if they would replace it. I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with SmokeStik. Thanks!

. I just ordered the DSE901 from e-smokeytreats.com, and I'm very excited/anxious to try it out. I'm a pretty avid smoker who has tried to quit with terrible results. I tried Chantix, and that made me feel strange, like I was someone else. I wasn't my normal goofy self. Smoke Away (thought to be a placebo) worked for me...but I didn't work with it. I went about 6 months last year smoke-free. you get the idea, though.
while on Smoke Away again (last week), I was searching YouTube for additional assistance in the "Help me stop smoking!" world, and I accidentally stumbled upon e-cigarettes. after a fairly quick search on Yahoo, I found this forum, and I've been skimming through it for hours on end, reviewing, reading, and just enjoying the content and feel of it. I decided since I'm about to venture into a new albeit less dangerous addiction, I should join and converse with everyone else that's in the same boat.

Just got my first e-cigs yesterday, and I couldn't be more impressed. Starting out with an M401 and Dura-C...glad to be off the smoke!
Hi all, just bought my first ecig - and after 40 years of smoking I think this will finally get me off the dreaded weed! - I have been trying to find the right strength of cartridge before ordering some more, will give them a try - but if they only last as long as the ones that came with the starter pack I think I will need to try the eliquid instead. Any info regarding the liquid would be appreciated - i.e. how long a bottle lasts etc. I bought the Super E Cig. from TW UK - anyone else with one of these and would like to swap notes, please get in touch.

I just received my 1st eciggy today from electroniccigaretteshop.net. It's a DSE 901, I think. It was pretty cheap @£17.99 for a starter kit.
I'm quite impressed, getting a pretty reasonable quantity of 'smoke' and no nasty taste.
I have a couple of questions that I was hoping a more experienced esmoker might help me with
I'd quite like something with a bit more flavour - any thoughts? Would anyone recommend the falvoured cartridges - maybe liquorice (I used liquorice papers and Old Holborn previously).
Also, I've noticed eliquid is available - will I be able to re-charge the cartridges I have or do I need to buy blanks/empty ones. I'd like to 'top up' regularly to avoid the risk of running dry (which I've read about on here). So, any recommedndations.
And, lastly, I would quite like a smaller cigarette (black) the one I have is 12cm. Which of smaller models is reliable? I've seen a model 'titan' advertised which seems a possibility - does anyone have experience of that model.

I tried Puresmoker, janes shop and one other but forgot the name of it. All were out of the Dse901. I wanted to know if anyone knows of other sites that sell them in a starter kit at a resonable price.I really liked the dse901 black pocket mini with the blue led. So if you know where i could find one let me know I would be ever so grateful!

You might like RY4, Riskee or Tennessee Cured. They all remind me of the Old Holborn/Liquorice paper combo which I favoured as a penniless student.
Whatever it was, it seems to resolve itself. Board has a MESS of places trying to run javascript stuff, took me a while to figure out what it actually wanted

well, how does a person contact a mod? I've been to this site several times and have intense trouble navigating back and forth in the forums and see no way to contact anybody. I see now that I can't ask the questions I signed up to be able to ask until I post in 10 threads? But as a complete newbie, I have nothing to contribute to any thread, lol! I know zip!
The problem is: There's so much on this site, I could clearly spend several weeks here trying to get enough info to make an intelligent choice of e-cigarette to buy, but because I work F/T I do not have that kind of time, I've already been on here over an hour just trying to find a way to ask my basic questions. The way things are going, they'll be banned by the time I get enough info. to act.

But in the new members' forum I really don't expect any experienced users to be there and I haven't found any threads that seem to really relate to these particular questions, and don't want to hijack any and be rude.

I've been vaping for about 3 weeks now. Haven't had an analog since 03/12/09. Was previously smoking 1-2 packs a day for the last 8 years.
I've been reading the forums a lot, and will most likely continue to lurk for a while.

I really liked Rob at altsmoke.com (I'm too new to post a link, just paste into your browser) and he carries these. In fact I just now looked and it seems that black with a blue LED is the only color he has in stock.
He was very kind and patient with my questions and his prices are good. He's in the US (I forget what state) and also carries the juice. (The starter kit comes with 0 nic carts) I haven't tried the juice myself yet, but at $20 for a 30ml bottle seems like a good price.

One thing I have discovered while searching for info, is that I am apparently ADD because I start on one thread and keep following the links until I have about 25 or so pages open. So many interesting topics!

You should have seen the stack of pages I left open when I went to bed last night so I could find them quickly this morning.
Nah, it's easy. There's a video somewhere around here that goes into excruciating detail, but really it's just a matter of making a channel so that the cart fills from the bottom up without getting any air trapped.
