Newport Juice

I've spent countless hours reading through posts and keep getting sidetracked and forgetting what I was originally looking for.

In short, I have a 510 and am looking for the best liquid to satisfy a 1 1/2 pk a day Newport smoker. I'm pretty sure I still need the high nic (been 2 days w/o an analog) but all of the menthol I have is a more of a minty (toothpaste) flavor. I'm looking for something with a rich tobacco/subtle menthol flavor.

I have regular tobacco and menthol flavors (24mg) and put a drop or 2 of each on my cartridge but I'm seriously missing the flavor of a Newport.

Any Newport smokers past or present here that feel me?

My apologies if this a redundant question or if it belongs in a different section.

Good luck with that, I was pretty much in the same boat. I've read good things about nhaler nuport juice, I think, although I haven't tried it myself. All the menthol juices I've tried so far taste nearly identical, lots of menthol, no tobacco. I've tried adding menthol drops to tobacco flavors and the menthol just smacks it down, no matter how much or how little you add. I eventually just lost the taste for menthol (in e-cigs) and just switch around with the other available flavors (flue cured was great, but I haven't been able to find one I like recently).

Apparently I'd be better off finding anything with a rich tobacco flavor and adapting.

My girlfriend had the same problem. We ordered the 555/menthol and Nuport from nhaler.com and she like the Nuport. She says it isn't an exact replacement but close enough. You might want to give it a try.

If you are anything like me, the available menthols (just about anyone's) will do the trick for a while, and then will grow to taste medicinal. It took about a 30ml bottle before I got sick of it. I still use it occasionally, just to break it up some.

YES! Get the NuPort , virginia creme de menthe , 555 menthol and usa mint tobacco from NHaler.com-you WONT be disappointed-BEST MENTHOL-TOB mixes yet! Tastes like a fresh menthol cig smells when u open a fresh pack! Mmmmm!!!!

As my bf stated I liked the Nuport from Nhaler better. I smoked Kools so I was having an issues really finding one that was just right. We ordered the Nuport and 555 menthol from them and I loved the Nuport. To me the 555 is really light and I dont feel like I am getting anything ( but I am not happy with my 510 either.) I get very little vapor and throat hit. To me those are big issues to me. And I seem to be using the 555 alot- always refilling.

I am going to try the menthol crystals and see where that takes me. But I will be ordering Nuport--- Its not a harsh or foul tasting as some are-- its just right.

You might want to give that a try,

And you might want to try menthol drops vs. crystals first, those crystals can be a pain to get repeatable and work with. Juicy Liquid sells the drops, probably some other places as well.

Grneyes keep me posted on the crystals if you would please, I'd be curious to know how that works. I'm currently using a 510 w/USB passthrough and 36mg menthol from litecigusa.net and that has been working pretty good for the throat hit and nic fit side, but I really miss the taste of a Newport.

I've smoked Kools too when they were on sale but Kools have more of a menthol flavor whereas Newports have more of a tobacco flavor to me anyway.

It's been 5 days using the vape or nothing approach but I just think it would be a lot easier if I had something that tasted more like a Newport.

You can't go wrong there. I migrated from the freshsmoking Newport to Drew's Nuport HV and regular and that is a staple for me at my computer set up. Nuport and some Ecopure fresh in a Janty Stick. It's tasting even better as the weather get cooler.

I think there is only one flavor of Drew's that I don't like - lemon ginseng. and some must like it or he wouldn't make it. Just looked and couldn't find it. You're safe

Thanks, I was thinking about the drops but was not sure if it was more of a mint taste. My first menthol was from litecig and I didn't like it. It was the 24mg and it was just really strong for me. So the next time I got Nuport and it was good. But I am really wanting to make my own. I havent placed my order yet so I might have to switch and use the drops instead.

nhaler liquid is awesome! I got a few samplers and the Nuport and 555 are excellent, I haven't even tried the others yet.

I was a Newport smoker and all the Nuport flavors and menthol flavors taste like is you smoke an analog Newport without lighting it. Not bad, but not what I wanted. I still vape the Nuport, but I am getting more satisfaction from RY4 and cappachino, or a mix of both, go figure!!
