Hey guys, I want to review the great experience I had with Velvet Cloud Vapors!
To start off, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that this company dealt with all organic products in pure VG. The website design was eye-catching, unique, and very professional, and the flavor selection was fairly dedicated.
Using a combination of coupons and discounts and deals, I snag a 15ml of Burley beard, and a free 10ml sample of Caramel Swirl for just $6.00 or so, including shipping. An amazing deal, I had to take advantage of it.
So my liquids come in, and I try the Caramel Swirl in my anti-famous Aspire. The Aspire gave me extremely funky tastes galore in each liquid I put in it, it gave the Caramel Swirl an overwhelming Sea Salt taste. It was surprisingly tolerable-ish, but it was a pure salty taste, no caramel, and so I emailed VCV explaining the situation. They assured me that no salt was used in the ingredients (I had first suspected salt may have been used as a preservative - hey, it would make sense in organic products.) and were extremely friendly about offering a replacement. Even though it was the free sample that seemed faulty, I explained that the free sample weighed heavily into my budgeting choice, and they understood perfectly.
I sent a reply with my shipping information, and for two weeks or so, I don't get a reply, and while I try re-sending the information, I yet again don't get a reply. However, today, I went out to my mailbox to discover it was stuffed with vape gear, including a 25ml Bottle of Caramel Swirl and an additional 15ml bottle of Candy Bar. Woah. Simply woah. They sent me 35ml's of juice just because I emailed them about a 10ml free sample that tasted funky. This is unbelievable. I've never seen generosity like this. I'm emailing them in the morning to thank them and readily offer to send the bottles back (but well, I don't mind one bit if they say keep them!) - I couldn't resist opening one anyway.
So while I'm experiencing major technical difficulties with various devices, I manage to get enough of a vape out of various things to barely review the Candy Bar flavor. So far, I know this one will be good. At worst, it tastes like that Scooby Doo dog food candy that came in little plastic bowls, they sold it at weird places when I was a kid and it was supposed to mimick crunchy dog food that kids could eat, a bit like off brand Reese Puffs or something. The Candy Bar tastes like that Scooby Doo candy. Even out of all the sucky devices I'm trying it on, I can taste goodness, and even with trying it in the Aspire, which has leftover juice of Burley Beard, Caramel (Salt) Swirl, and who knows what else, it still tastes good. A winner.
I haven't tried the new bottle of Caramel Swirl yet, but I have a feeling that a better device will give it a true taste - it smells and looks the same as the old one, so I'm not sure. I'm holding off on testing it. Also, the Blue Beard was funky too, in the Aspire, it tasted just like maybe a herb oil. Nothing mechanic, just, maybe like a plant oil or something. It was odd. Oh well, I've done enough complaining to VCV and they wowed my world with amazing free goodies, so that'll be that, I'm very happy they sent me the Candy Bar sample.
Three cheers for VCV! Maybe there's some flavor kinks, maybe there ain't, but they're an excellent vendor with good customer service, some of the best. They really came through for me!
