I am wondering if anyone can suggest a good next level for me? I currently use a Joye510 PV with an Atty and a Joye 510 Mega Battery. Which I believe is 280mah. I have a friend who just purchased an Expert 510 Atomizer and claims it performs much better because it has a larger bridge and creates better wicking and tons more vapor. Box mods and 6 Volt PV's seem great and are definitely something I'd like to work up to soon. But I'm wondering if this Expert Atty is a good next step or if it's just a gimmick and I'd be better off saving my money towards the higher volt PV's out there?

I prefer cartomizers (Boge 3 ohm on slim 510)

The next step up is real 3.7v like the Riva 510 kits at Liberty-Flights.com (press the 20% off upper left front page, then look at prices - under $30 for the Lite bundle). Or a 3.7v mod box ($20 in ECF Buying & Selling ...Mods and Accessories plus you need a couple of $5 batteries to swap and a charger for them costing $12-15). Those will make everything you are currently using run hotter (since 510's are around 3.4v.) as well as longer charge and give you the option to use even hotter LR attys/cartos.

Thank you very much dormhouse for the advice. Sounds like a great affordable next level. I will check it out for sure!!!

The E-Power 510 is a better option than the Riva. E-Power batteries cost $4-$5 and last 3 times longer than the Riva's which cost $14-$20. But if you are going to get a box mod, a good next level is the 5 volt box mod. Again, the batteries are around $4 each. Much warmer vapor and consistency than the 3.7 volt models and really great with dual coil cartomizers. Here is where you can get the E-Power and the 5 volt box mod:

I just ordered the 14650 E-Power from Crystal Clear Vaping for 55bux with the ecf5off discount code...in addition to what normally comes with the kit, CCV throws in 5 Resurrector cartos, a 30ml bottle of juice and free shipping...all in all a pretty good deal........

I;d either get an E-Power kit since you can change the actual batteries inside, so you can get good batts that dont die and maintain good power throughout use.
OR, I would go with a 6V/3.7V PV mod. I just got the Prodigy V3.1 and I LOVE it. It's simple, sexy, and most importantly, makes CLOUDS of vapor and tastes really good. I got it at 6v

My next level will include one of the newer variable voltage boosters. I've gotten low res attys and without the option to buck down the voltage, it burns some liquids too high. Of course with regular voltages, I don't feel it's hot enough. Artisan Vaping | Home of the Ego Booster makes one that will work with the ego that I plan to get once I can afford it. :)

If you really wanna go to the next level. Than that means that your going into mod territory. I would HIGHLY recommend a REO Grand or mini. It's built from aircraft aluminum with either a 3 or 6ml bottle. Which will last you the whole day depending on how heavy you vape. This will include the battery life as well.

The REO Grand goes from 3.7, 5, and 6V. Overall, the grand will give a hotter vape and well as more battery time.

The mini can only go from 3.7 and 6V. It has decent battery life (4-8 hrs on average), small and compact. Making it the best out of the two to take out on town with you.

You can also use any carto and atty you want. Which is the point to a good bottom fed device. Is to make it as easy as possible to vape. You can check these threads out to see if it's for you:

There's also some mini's that are still on sale right now:

They are mostly sold out for a while. So, it's good to get one when it's available. Overall, it's one of the most respected and IMO best bottom fed devices out there.

It's really just comes down to personal preference but I found myself in a similar situation. The answer for me has been 3.7v batteries with 510 Low Resistance 1.8ohm attys. I've tried mega LR cartos and my DG loves them but I prefer the regular sized attys because they give me more of a throat hit. Today I picked up a Mad Vapes 3.7 box mod and a couple of 14500 Ulrafires which I am really, enjoying it. Of course it kind of looks like I'm walking around with a detonator in my hand but meh. It's all good. Just my .02. Good luck in your hunt!
