I've been having some problems with my 510 lately and I'm trying to get those resolved because i love it dearly but i was thinking about getting another type of PV.

Does anybody have any suggestions on a new PV that you think a current 510 user might like? 901, 401, etc... I am by no means trying to find something just like a 510, any normal PV suggestions will do. Reasons for said suggestions would also be helpful.

Not looking for mods though please. I would like one, i just don't have the cash to spring for one.

Thanks.

Little Chuck or Protege or some kind of 3.7 volt mod.

I don't think the eGo batteries even run at a full 3.7 volts... correct me if I'm wrong but I think they're like 3.4 volts.

You can't beat a 14500 900mah battery. They last all day without a recharge. Plus a full 3.7 volts really brings a 510 atty to life. Better TH and vapor production than the 3.1 volt 510 battery. Its also nice because 14500 are only a few bucks a pop. Try finding a new 510 battery for that price.

Thas what i started out with was a Joye 510, and the thing isa champ. My kit came with 2attys,2batts, charger and some carts for like 50 bux, couldnt go wrong IMO.

But i wanted somthing for a treat, somthing a lil different, somthing a little beefier.

Sooo i ordered a eGo dualy kit from Nicotine Nirvana for like $51 ( 4th special )(Joye)

i can use my other 510 Attys on it, the batt. lasts forever longer, it looks BA. its all around just what i was looking for. Its like my reg. 510 on steroids, but not really lolz

Luv It ~Capn~

I apologize if i didn't clarify enough. But capnjack98 pretty much matches my situation. I don't plan on getting rid of my 510 at all, i just want something a bit different to try out.

I'll have a look at the eGo. Sounds good if it uses 510 parts.

I'll also have a look at the mods that brandon555 mentioned as long as they're not too expensive. I guess i haven't really looked hard enough on mods if there are cheaper ones out there quasimod. I just saw a couple that were like 200 dollars and kinda gave up on it. lol.

I really like the idea of the 14500 900mah batts that last all day. I'll tumble around on all this for a bit and see what i can come up with.

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. If anyone else drops in just keep em coming.

Thats why I mentioned them... They're not totally out of your league. There are some rediculously expensive mods out there but the chuck is $80 and the Protege is around $100 but includes everything you need... Adapter, batteries, charger, and atomizer.

I say go for a mod. They really don't have to be so intimidating... check out a mini vape stack...

of course, the ego is awesome.

for a bit different? but not a step up in terms of power?
Get a Kr808...

also, on my eGo... I use a 510 to 901 connector and vape 901 attys... same with BE112 and 801's... I just prefer the longer, harder draw of the 901.32

Revised to say...
I really do like the set up of an eGo with connectors for 901/801...
Off that one battery, I have three different vaping experiences...
not to mention cartomizers..

you can do the connector/atty thing with a mod as well...

The thing that an eGo has over a 510 is battery life. But if you are unhappy with a 510, then a longer battery life doesn't seem like it is going to help. Your just going to be unhappy longer between battery changes.

I can't make a suggestion not knowing what the 'problem" is with the 510.

I went from a Joye510 to a box mod and I am completely satisfied. Not sure what your criteria are but if you are already invested in the 510 stuff, I recommend checking out some of the box mods if money is an issue at all. Ken at BoxMods.net can accommodate you. Well worth your time to check Kens site out.

Trapped by Schrödinger's cat....
If you haven't tried the 510 cartomizers and the LR atties. I would try that first. Also a 5 volt Passthrough will give you an idea of how higher resestance vaping goes. it's not a true 5 volt but it comes kinda close.

This would also be my recomendation.
Know that the LR Atty will lower battery life, but it is MUCH more satisfying. :)

If you're just looking for something a little different to break up the monotiny of vaping the same thing all the time you could do what I do. I carry a 510, a Volcano(L88B), and a NicoStik and swap between them all day. They all work a little differently and I think it keeps everything fresh and interesting. I also have multiple flavors going all the time which for me helps too.
