The symptoms should pass. If not, switch to VG. VG seems to be easier on the lungs and doesn't seem to dehydrate as much. Many people seem to have a slight intolerance to high PG juices (I get a slight head-throb). Oh, and I'm definitely more regular than I've ever been. Not sure if that's from stopping the analogs or PG/VG.

just starting then there is a learning curve, like drinking water, but more important finding out what juices and mix works best for you. If your vaping mainly pg then try a little more vg, or try 100% VG......Finding the right mix alleviates alot of the problems you are experiences...you should be fine once you find out what works best for you..good luck

So how long does the ulcer bloom last anyway? I'm at ulcer-week two and wish I could eat the sandwich in my hand without so much pain.

Sounds like a pg reaction. I had that when I first started and was advised to vape 100% vg. I have not had the problem since I changed over.

i agree also to a pg reaction.....but having ulcers to me that is not a vaping problem

Ulcers (chancres) are likely an inflammatory or even immune reaction to the pg. Could even cause a flare up of herpes virus due to the stress on the body. (Oral herpes virus) causing "cold sores".

Mine only lasted about 4 days & honestly I didn't know what to blame it on because I saw it's a very common symptom with quitting smoking (not so much vaping); however I just had a bunch of dental work done (7 crowns, 6 shots of novacaine, etc.) & seemed to get the ulcers @ the injection sites. I rinsed w/warm salt water numerous times a day & that helps immensely!

And BTW, I have been using all VG juice from the beginning. I have since ordered some 80VG/20PG in one flavor because that was the lowest PG ratio available from that vendor, but I don't vape that flavor all day long or anything, only in the evenings.

And as for the sugar in the iced tea, I think maybe that can sort of negate/reduce the hydrating effects, but I'm only guessing ;)
