It might not be the best idea, but they should work with a little magnetic spacer to act as a nipple. The circuit board in the top of the Provari extends just a little past the metal pin(positive connection) to prevent using flat tops, as best I can tell anyway. But I've tested with another flat top 18500 and they will work with a magnet. Be aware that obviously Provape recommends the AW IMR batteries. Hope that helps.

Just a heads up, the NHaler 18500 "Kick" IMR batteries won't fire up my Provari. I got these batteries as a part of Nhaler's "Kick" kit and figured I'd try them in my Provari v1 since it can use 18490 / 18500 batteries.

No idea why it doesn't work... the batteries otherwise test good.

AZ Craig how do you like that Kick? I have one, I am waiting for my Percise+ to be delivered so I can try the thing? Im here in Scottsdale.

I have used the kick in several devices, My results are all using AW imr batteries..... 18350/3.5-4 hrs.. 18490/6.5-7 hrs 18650/12-13.5 hrs....Your mileage may vary...

I find the kick to work best in the Silver Bullet... It does work quite well in the precise P+18500,BUT it is very tight fit. You will have to use your fingernail to help the grounding spring of the kick get past the threads of the P+. It is also a struggle to get it back out. The Precise works well with the Kick, But is fiddly to get the kick in and out
