Mike yeh i have been using greencigs since Oct 2009. they are fantastic. not much oif a choiuce for liquid but when they are empty they can be filled with juice of your choice. i use Nhaler liquid in my greencigs but the liquid is a lot smoother and maybe lighter in the greencig carts so i usually spike up the nic a bit. but not too much of a spike or i will lose flavor. enjoy the greencigs. they can be refilled so look around there is posts everywhere on how to fill them. Happy vaping

Mike, what adapter did you get to use the Greencig carts on your V4L batteries?

Drew sells them (tho recently he was out and I didn't check whether they're back in stock), as KR808D to GC adapters. There are also some interim tricks you can use for air flow, like perforating a hole in the 'G' in the carto's 'GreenCig' logo, or using the staple mod.

He's still out, I'm waiting, too. And I'm waiting for more flavors in the Octane line. His lung juices are fantastic, I agree. The only ones that feel clean, comforting and never leave any nasty residue/film/coating in my mouth. They also feel significantly less drying than other e-liqiuds.

what flavors is he out of in Octane line? speaking of octane flavors when i first got the Plain octane i hated it. then i started mixing it with other tobacco. now i love it by itself and mixed. i mix plain and signature
mix plain and some 555 or DB1 and i mix signature with DB1 or 555. i love these combos. also mixed plain with virginia and not bad but the other 3 are golden. for me anyway.

Cos, he's not out, but he was supposed to expand the line beyond strictly tobacco flavors. I can't vape 24 mg, and I use 3.7v batteries only, so HV series is not for me. I don't really like tobacco flavors. I've heard good things about Drew's tobaccos, though. I am tempted to try his signature or plain. As long as it's mild and not sweet, cedar-y, pipe-y, cigar-y. Any recommendations?

I received some lung juices too (pear and sleepy time) and look forward to trying them ASAP! :D Re the adapter, as you know, I already had a mystery one that was 'inadvertantly' working with GCs too, but after posting here I tried the KR808 to GC one I received from Drew a little while ago. It appears that like a poster in a different subforum mentioned recently, it's not the correct one -- doesn't work with GCs on any of my V4L KR8 batts, manual or auto. Threads on correctly but no air flow at all. (Did try adjusting moving center post in all ways.)

No biggie tho since I do have something else that works (why, I may never know) :). Not sure if I want to mail back just an adapter, so since it's bound to work with some other configuration I have, first I'll probably try to figure out what it's actually for and whether I could use another of those! :p

Ooops, that's bad news. Drew, do you know why some of your kr808>Greencig adapters don't work for some folks(Miss MiA and another poster, elsewhere) but do work for others (Mike, above)? I want to make sure that I get one that works, when they arrive.

Miss MiA, how do you like the lung juices? I've tried Pomegranate, Watermelon and Green Tea sleepy, my fave has to be the Pom. Sleepy time is an acquired taste, I can taste the Valerian root, but I enjoy vaping it a lot. How about you?

I have a theory on that: After they'd run out maybe a couple similar-looking ones were accidentally sent out before it was 'officially' noted that they'd run out. Mine was received at what was probably the same time as the other poster's, and I'm betting that was the only time period in which it did or will happen.

I still get to look forward to trying my first of any of them! :) My orders came in awhile ago, but I've been gone so much that I haven't tried them yet. The pear and sleepy time green tea will be up very soon! I read that the sleepy time g.t. actually does also have melatonin in it or something and is relaxing, so I was curious to try it, since I do have chronic sleep trouble!

I doubt that the concentrations of Valerian and melatonin in the juice are high enough to make a difference, but I've found both ingredients helpful when I can't sleep. I use melatonin to fight jet lag problems, while a few drops of Valerian (tincture) can be very relaxing at bed time. Plus, Valerian has some of those lovely whole tobacco alkaloids missing from e-liquids, so it's win-win, you see. ;)

Time for my sleepy time green tea session. Good night, everybody.

Katya if you want to try a tobacco flavor but ya really dont taste the tobacco ya gotta try Drewbacco1 in 12mg which is High Voltage. the High Voltage just makes loads of vapor really doesnt mean its strong. The high voltage is usually for manuel batteries and Mods. you get so much vapor when you blow it out of your mouth you wont be able to see in front of you. Most everyone who tries the drewbacco1 loves it. its my fav vape. after that a big favorite is 555. but try the sample bottles first. but if you ever get something you dont care for you will not have any trouble getting rid of it on this forum.
The octane line Plain is kinda strong to me anyway but its great. But it is not mild. it has a nice kick so it may not be for you. again try the 6ml bottle. agfain you can always sell it on here.Signature is very nice and very mild.
i am getting away from the sweet stuff but i still have a few i love. the pineapple, french vanilla coffee, lemon meringue (not sweet at all). these are about it as far as fruity. Now the lung liquids are fantastic. Pear lung, greentea and orange lung is great. the sleeptime is also a lung liquid but i dont see it. that is excellent.
and people on here started mixing some flavors and that is fantastic too.
anyway i hope this helps you. any more questions feel free to ask anytime and anyone. happy vaping

Thanks, Cos, for your reply. I was worried that HV juice would be too thick for cartomizers and thus cause all kinds of problems, you know, not wicking fast enough, clogging, burning? I thought that lighter, cleaner, thinner juices are best for cartomizers.

But maybe I could try them with the Greencig cartos, rather then the kr8s. So you think I can vape HV juices on my 3.7v manual? I thought they were meant for 5v and up.

BTW, I adore the pup in you avatar. Is this your dog?

I got the KR808/901 > Greencig Cartos Adaptor from Nhaler...Mabe it's a new adaptor

That's the same one I ordered (and which is out of stock right now). It was just a diff one that myself and another poster I know of actually received. I imagine that was just an isolated occurrence around that time.

But anyway, I have been able to use the GCs w/ my V4L batts via another adapter I already had (and they also work pretty well on the 510 to KR808 and other something-to-KR808 adapters I have on some of my mods), and I concur, I love the GC cartos! Someone said Drew will be getting them in additional flavors eventually and if so I'll try those too. :)

If you overtighten the nhaler adaptor it won't work at all. I just loosen it off a bit and it gives a great draw with no airyness(if that's a word).

I think its a word??? But Im not sure what it means?? My middle name is Arey8-o (grandmothers maiden name) but I guess it could mean my daughter if I was a King?:D

That's a good tip for ppl to know about, tho it wasn't the issue in my case. I've become well-versed in adjusting adapters, especially since the moving center post in some of them needs to sit just so on both ends. The loosening tip is the first thing I tried actually, since it's said that with some KR8 batts, that in itself will work with a GC even without an adapter.

So, to identify the adapter type that I received I finally got out all possible batt end connections and all possible mate end connections. Tried all combos of batt/connector end = KR8, 901, 510 or 801; and atty/carto end = 901, 510, 801, KR8 carto or GC carto.

The only combo that worked with this adapter was *901 batt > KR8 carto, so that's what it must be. Nhaler does sell those too, and it would also look similar to the KR8/901 > GC version, and probably be especially easy to grab in error in the absence of the GC one that had in reality run out. Someone else sent one back recently for same reason -- maybe that also turned out to be a 901 > KR8 carto. (*For the person who is always out there when 901 batt > KR8 carto comes up, and thinking an adapter wouldn't be necessary for that since it isn't for KR8 batt > 901 atty: It is. ;))

I do like to have 901 > carto adapters on hand since some of my mods are 901 style, tho I was pretty well set on them. And I found out via some received in a Chinese order that actually, GC functionality can co-exist in the same adapter. (They didn't claim it would or even intend it to I'm sure, since they deal in nothing GC; it just does.) As such I've been using those ones since before I ordered this one, and was just curious if the official, dedicated GC adapter would perform much differently. Now tho I'll be watching the 'gold letter' GC thing before deciding whether to order more. And Nhaler has been very generous with me on my previous orders (plus I got 10% off and free shipping on the one this adapter came in); so bottom line, I may just keep it. If I do order more GCs eventually I may take another stab at it, and mention this for good measure. :)

Hey Miss Kia,
I apologize for your inconvenience and will try to explain...Some of the 901>cartomizer adapters have holes in the sides and work with MOST(but not all) cartomizers...Others have a slot on the posy in the adapter taht also work with both GC and other cartos, but are a little Airy and will not activate an auto battery very well...SO we are trying to find one that is universal but, its not working out so well...
We got some in that we tried on KR8 and GC carts and just asssumed that they would work with all cartomizers, which we found they would not...We have some on the way now and we are going to make seperate categories for GC adapters and KR8s...Again sorry for the confusion...Also please mention it in your next order in CAPLOCKS with a clear explination of what you need and I wil see that it is corrected...Thanks
Drew

Thank you Drew! And yup, the 901 batt > KR8 carto adapter I got directly from China, which inadvertently ended up also working for KR8 batt > GC, does have the groove across its center post. Re the universal styles you've tried, in case this could be making a beneficial diff, FYI this China one has a fixed rather than movable center post. It's a gold-tone one. To me it works great with my KR8 batts (all pre-Feb. 2010 V4L versions) whether auto or manual and of all lengths, and with the 901 connector of my mods (don't have any stock 901 batts), together with all KR8 cartos (combo 'generic' China ones and old/'mid-new' V4Ls) and GC cartos I have. Hmmm, hope that was comprehensible! :p

As you mentioned tho, perhaps it's the case that it is an airier draw than many would like, and I just happen not to mind that; not sure. However, when I hit a KR8 auto with native carto, the draw seems/feels the same to me as the draw with this Chinese adapter and a GC.

If any of that sounds diff from the universals you've tried and is of interest, let me know. And thanks again! :)
