Since nicotine is both stimulant and depressant, would a too high dose of nic in eliquid be disguised as "sleeping better"? I mean, I can't complain about a sound 8 hours sleep but my sleeping pattern is too strange.

I'm sleeping too early with no real trigger like light/background noise/social interaction. 6-8 pm and I get really drowsy no matter where I am and I just run to house/bed for a shutdown of 8 hours. No progressive sleeping, hypnagogy or dreams. It's like, BAM.

Even when I didn't smoke(if I recall correctly), my sleeping pattern was different: 12-14 hours in the bed. 1-2 hour of progressive shutting down (including hypnagogic stuff) and waking up with some 8-10 hours of actual sleep.

Should I raise or lower nic level? Overthinking nothing? I mean, hynagogia and dreams could be scary but made the sleeping experience interesting. Now I just "dull sleep".

Not enough info. Did you smoke, how much how long, are you still smoking. What nic level are you using, how much do you vape, so many things could be contributing factors.
Also remember if you were a smoker and have quit your body is adjusting not only to the difference in nicotine but the absence of over 100 other chemicals that you no longer inhale.

Of course I smoked. 7-8 year of smoking, last 4 of heavy smoking at 2-3PAD. Currently on 18 mg, but already planning on dropping to 11 in a couple of weeks and later 6.

I'm kind of chain vaping. Was worse in the first days, but now it's a 10-15 minutes session every 2-3 hours, also some random hits here and there (including those to test lung/mouth differences, vapour production, etc while reading about vaping :) )
