Ok, I just ordered 1110mls of 100mg 100%VG base from WL. It's coming in 6 bottles, 3 250's and 3 120's. I've read that I need to test the nic level before I start mixing with it to be sure what I have, so I also ordered a test kit. My intent is to combine all 6 bottles down I into one half gallon jug before I test, that way I only have to use one test instead of testing each bottle individually. My question is this, after I combine the bottles, do I need to let the base "steep" for a while before I test it to give all the levels time to balance out or whatever, or can I test it immediately? I just want to make sure when I do finally test it that I get an accurate reading. Thanks everyone!

First off, let me say that I have absolutely no worry about anything that Wizard sends out. They've been used by thousands of us from this forum without a single reported problem.

After stating that however, if you're worried enough to want to test your nic, you need to leave it in the original bottles until you've ran the tests. Were it not from such a dependable place you would need to send it back if it tested out at the wrong levels, or at least report the lot number to the company, and that's hard to do if you've already combined it with 5 other bottles.

Also, it's easier to store nic base in the freezer with small to medium glass bottles, which is the recommended method for any base you're not going to be able to use up within a year.

Personally I would not worry about WL. They titrate their retail liquids, and the many titrations I have done on WL liquids are all spot on accurate. I normally would not say this, but WL is one company you can trust. And if it is all the same type of nic, it is from the same batch anyway and would most likely all show exactly the same nic level. John QC is among the best in the biz.
