Nic Base Question

I'm planning to start making my own juice, and don't be concerned I am planning to read everything I can on ECF first.

But a couple of quick questions:

My plan was to by 100ml nic base, some PG and Some VG, and some TFA flavours.

But I also need a vendor who will ship to Malaysia.

I found that Perfect Vape will ship here, but the smallest quanity of PG or VG was a Gallon.

I wanted to start a little smaller.

Their nic base, Premium NicSelect at 100ml was $57 USD for 32oz, sounds ok.

But the sell the same brand Nic Base premixed as 40PG, 60VG, 12ml nic, for $25 USD per 32oz.

I'm thinking this is a great price for me to get near on a litre of juice! That's already at the strength I was planning to use.

I am understanding this right? When they advertise Nic Base as 40PG, 60VG, 12mg, that is the same 12mg as the retail bottles I've been buying from Five Pawns etc..?

So if I plan to add between 10-15% volume of TFA flavouring into my juice (which I will calculate as being 100% PG for all practical purposes) then I figure the following:

10% Flavouring, VG drops to 54%, Nic drops to 10.8mg.

15% Flavouring, VG drops to 51%, Nic drops to 10.2mg.

I'm looking for something close to 50/50 12mg, but if my calculations are correct these numbers will do fine!

Please tell me if I'm not looking at this the right way, because this is all looking far to easy.

It's not only a question of finding PG/VG here, it's also a question of trusting the supplier.

It would be all too easy to relabel an inferior product with the USP logo.

I get nic from my freedom smokes , its been good for me. Theres a few places people get it from , I do find getting the 100mg nic is the best value if the store charges the same for say 100mg as they do for 40mg ( same volume)
Vg and Pg I do get locally due to sizes.

MFS wanted $104 USD delivery to Malaysia, better than Perfect Vape, but not cheap.

Still I thought it was worth it, but got scuppered when they wouldn't take any of my credit cards. They're UK registered cards and their system wouldn't let me order to Malaysia with them.

Luckily after much searching I have found a local supplier here in Malaysia, and they do PG & VG (USP Kosher 99.7%), Nic base (100mg, 60mg, 48mg), and a range of TFA, Lorains, Capella's, etc.. flavours.

Yes they do the lot!

So I ordered 10 TFA flavours, a litre of PG, a litre of VG, and 120ml of 100mg nic base.

Oh, and 10x 30ml brown glass bottles with pipettes.

All for less than $100 USD!

(Just hope they are reputable)

The nic base is Heaven Juice, has anyone ever heard of it or used it?

So while waiting for delivery I spent an hour making sure I understood nic, Pg, Vg, balance by making the attached calculator:

Ok, it's very basic, but if you edit any of the following columns it will calculate the nic you need in ml for your specified: Bottle size, Nic base strength, and Desired nic strength.

Only really needed row A, as you can change the values, but if you want to see multiple options on one screen use as many rows as you want.

It's not quite Steam Engine. LOL, but it does work offline.


As I'm planning to make 30ml batches to start off with, I'll be adding 3.6ml of 100mg nic base to get 12mg (1.2%).

So I wondered how to measure 3.6ml for nic, and flavour levels ranging from 0.5ml to 2.5ml?

Went to the local pharmacy and bought a bunch of 3ml and 5ml oral syringes (the type you use to give baby's medicine), and a bunch of 1ml insulin syringes (with needles).

Should be able to make some accurate measurements with these (I guess?).

Delivery will be delayed until late next week as the shop is on holiday, but was able to place my order online after speaking to the owner on the phone.

Can't wait to get mixing

FYI: Flavour Art makes a "Heaven Juice" Nic Base.

Could be theirs or someone else utilizing that name.

Ask the seller who makes the base you purchased!.

It would appear to be Flavourart's Heaven Juice then

They only sell up to a maximum of 36mg nic strength on their website, but purhaps they sell 100mg to retailers. IDK.

I'm hoping the nic I bought is in pure PG, but my retailers website doesn't say.

It's not a problem if it's a PG/VG blend, I can still balance it out how I need it when mixing in the PG/VG and flavours.

Went and bought this during my lunch break:

Along with some padlocks to keep my Nic Base, PG/VG, syringes, juice bottles, etc.. out of harms way.

The bottom compartment is big enough to hold 8x 1.5litre bottles, so plenty of room for all my DIY juice kit when it arrives.

I've actually had that box (or similar) in the past.
Used it while living in an apartment to keep most of my home type tools in...would still have it today if I hadn't moved so much while I was in the military.
Of course with a garage, and peg board....I probably wouldn't keep tools in it anymore.

But yes I have been talking to the SO about getting something similar for my set up.
