Ive been vaping for a good 6 months now, and for some reason have been vaping 24mg juices only. It was just what i always got and enjoyed. My question is, should i try an move down to a lower mg or is it fine to be vaping that much. Hope this makes sense!
I started at 36mg. Vaped that for a year, and never had problems. I slowly moved down to 18mg. Anything lower than that gives me no bite. You can vape 24mg as long as you like :)

I quit smoking cigarettes (pack and a half a day, "lights" at the end, for almost 30 years) by vaping the heck out of 36mg for the first day and a half and haven't had a single puff off a cigarette since... AND I accidentally quit smoking before I was planning on doing so... I STILL have two and a half packs left! The 36mg started making me feel sick (which I expected) so I cut back to 24mg. Now if I am going to be home, like on the weekends, and I want to "chain vape" (I vape like a steam locomotive on my days off!) I flit around between 12-18mg. If I'm going out, where I can't vape any time I feel like it, I take 24mg with me. I prefer stronger stuff for my first few puffs each morning too.

Vaping as a full time replacement for cigarettes may mean re-learning some habits too. Everyone is going to be different. Since I vape in the house and never smoked in it I tend to reach for my PV a LOT more often than I did my smokes and my lighter. But on the flip side of that coin I usually only take one, two or three puffs at a time and I am done... Unlike smoking cigarettes where if I lit one I usually puffed and puffed and puffed until it was all gone... but only did that once or twice an hour usually.

And then there is what style of PV you have and how you use it. I moved from "cig-a-likes" like we had four years ago to variable voltage devices and larger tanks. Where the cig-a-likes were only border line on satisfying me the VV+tank will produce enough vapor to choke a horse! As a good friend of mine said "For something like that to really work it needs the ability to overdue it." For me this was very true. YMMV.

i was on 24mg for first 30 days or so... now im at 18mg and just got a bunch of 12mg for when the time comes...

its always good to have a few different levels available depending on your mood/cravings

also i always go with lower nic at nighttime just because the 24mg was keeping me from sleeping
(went down to 18mg and that helped big time)

Only if you want to. If you have cravings when you vape lower nicotine, or you vape more it may be sort of pointless.

Vape what keeps you happy and off cigs. If your not planning to get off nicotine and not getting any side effects then stick to where your at. If you'd eventually like to wean off the nicotine then I'd say to drop down a level. It's your choice what you want to do. I started at 18 at dropped down to 12. I like where I'm at. One day I want to get down to 0 and possibly quit vaping altogether. If that happens, great. I will still probably keep one of my mods just in case I have a relapse as I never want to smoke again. Like I said, it's all up to you and what your plans are.

I'm actually the opposite. I started nicotine intake in the form of cigars and dip, then went to hookah. I never really smoked cigarettes, but my fiance did. We tried quitting, I was, for the most part successful, she took a long time but still craved. So, we took up hookah. Cause of the nicotine level in cigars, it takes me a lot to get the calming sensation of nicotine. I started on 12mg, chain vaped for about an hour and a half before I started feeling it. I recently just up'd to 18mg, and it's still taking some chain vaping to get calm, but only around a half hour. I found that starting on 18, then moving towards 12 of another flavor helped with the TH and the affects. Finding that happy median takes some time, and the TH takes some getting used to. Heck, my brother has been smoking for almost 7 years, and at one point was a 2 pack a day guy (then he moved to Alaska and could barely afford a half a pack a day) and he still coughed from the TH of a 12mg! Thing is, you decide if you want to take the jump down or not, but I suggest keeping some higher stuff around just in case.

I started at 24mg. I just transitioned down to 18mg, this past week. Since I just switched my juice delivery device some 2 days ago, 18mg seems a bit strong, at the moment. Today, I am evenly mixing 18mg with 12mg. This seems to be working quite well, today.

Eventually, my target nicotine level is 0 mg. At which point, I will continue to vape.
