So yeah I'm using a subox starter kit. I'm running the .5 ohm coil and I'm using a max vg with a few drops of pg/vg to add some flavor. I'm still experimenting with wattage but I've found it almost perfect at 32.8w. Because there's no ramp up time and the vape feels amazing. I also use an evod tank on a vision spinner II when I'm out and about. It may seem high but I find it works best at around the 4.2-.3. range. I use a higher pg in that cause it seems to wick better and seems more appropriate for that kind of tank. As far as nic level goes I was just saying because like I said I vape a lot and just want to be safe. I don't necessarily want to vape less just safer.
Okay, at that resistance coil with that wattage setting, technically with a 12mg you are actually getting close to 24 to 36mg of exposure, so technically you should be between 6 to 9mg.
Working in a vapor shop I try to direct customers to a proper nic level depending on where they stand in their cig or previous cig use, especially new vapers.
Starter level, basic clearomizer (Aspire CE5, Aspire Nautilus, Kanger Protank Class) on VV/VW Ego or similar device in the below 15watts range, Pack and a half a day cigs, 18mg, Pack a day 12 to 18mg, Half Pack to full pack a day 6 to 12mg, Half pack of light cigs 6mg, etc.
Middle tier gear, sub-ohm tank on a decent mod in the 20 to 35watt range, 0 to 9mg juice (this includes the Kanger Subbox level etc you are at), these burn close to twice the liquid a Nautilus does.
Higher end gear, example Sigelei 150watt box mod with a Smok TFV4 or a dripping atomizer in the 60plus watts range, about a 3mg max, sometimes 6mg if they are used to this level, these devices can burn 3 to 4x the amount of liquid a Nautilus can.
