Isn't that the truth! Does your cat know how to open bathroom cupboards to get to toilet paper and other personal items that cats have no business eating?

Even if I remove the plastic from the TP, she decides it's a toy, and 'kills' it by grabbing it with her front paws and kicking it with her back feet. She'll take huge hunks out of it and make it completely unusable.

Damn cat.

But she's cute, so she gets to stay.

Currently I'm caring for five ferals and they're into everything.

Anyone who's ever had the temples chewed off a pair of eyeglasses know how much dogs and cats love plastics. Most have something in them (I forget what it is exactly) that begs for a critter to chew on. I use glass drippy bottles at home but even then I keep it in my pocket just to be safe. The rest of my nic stash is stored in the fridge.

I hear him during the night rummaging through the cupboards! I have to put baby safety latches on the bottom ones and he still tries to squeeze through the small opening. He's 7 and I thought he would grow out of his antics...but NO! His problem is that he's too smart! He rolls over on command, fetches and knows way more words than my dog (sweet dog, but not the brightest bulb in the package, ya know?). They're quite a pair!

glad I do not have to worry about my pets, only have 2, 25 lb African spurred tortoise's.. and a salt water fish tank.. and the turtles are in hibernation now.

do not plan on getting another cat they are too much work to train for a house pet because I do not want a litter box to empty so would have to train another to use the toilet.

and I am not home enough for a dog.

for ppl that are having their pets chew on stuff go to the store and buy a spice called alum its white powder.. mix some with water and mist it on anything that they get into then give it back to them.. some quit fast others will keep trying new items for awhile.

We've talked about putting the safety latches on the cupboards, but we ended up just moving all the stuff she likes to eat to the medicine cabinet that's mounted on wall. She hasn't figured out how to get in there yet.

On a funny side note, she was just now trying to abscond with a plastic grocery sack - that still had a ton of stuff in it - and my hubby clapped his hands really loud at her and scared the BEJEEZUS out of her. She bounced off the wall, got stuck in the bag, managed to get out, bounced off a printer and scattered stuff from the bag a good 5 feet away from it. When I found her, her tail was poofed up about 10x it's normal size. Poor, poor kitty.
But she did it to herself! LOL

Alum is a good idea. I used bitter apple for a long time but gave up... too lazy. yawn

I just realized you said 25 POUND turtles!!! WOW! Do you have pictures?

not on this comp.. they are still young too.. eventually after I have some kids and die and they take care of them they will get to be around 150-200 lbs

that is a old picture taken around 8 yrs ago that I put up on a site i built and forgot the login for it so i cant redo it. bought the site a long time ago so I would have the best site on the internet

used to have over 100 snakes breeding pair of every native indiana species and some pythons and boas. only native snake that i did not have was massasauga rattlesnake could not find any all the times i went out

they eat a lot.. in 2 days they will finish a head of cabbage and a pound of mixed vegetables, and a pound of fruit..

would be broke if I wasnt able to get fruits and vegi's for free from stores around here once they are bruised or past the point ppl will buy them they let me have them instead of just tossing them

I freaked out at first when I smelled how real some of the liquids smell, my dog would eat them and die, and so would a toddler too. Childproof caps aren't enough for me. I went out right away and bought a lockbox. Now I only keep 4 carts out at once, and those are always in my pocket.

It's deadly poison that smells like candy. How can you not lock it up?

Imagine this scenario;
Some dumb, seriously drunk or high teenager or babysitter at your house decides to see what swallowing 2ml of 36mg strength creamsicle flavour e-liquid does and puts it in theirs or their buddy's shot? It was only a few drops after all. I hope you have a lot of insurance.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but I've heard and seen far crazier. A lockbox big enough for 50 30ml bottles will cost you 30bux tops. It's worth it!
