This is just a basic math question for purposes of keeping the old brain firing. If I were to actually start mixing this stuff up I understand I would need a far better understanding.

Do not try this at home.

Must be 19+ to enter. Or 18. Where I live its 19.

Anyway..................

Assume a 1L bottle of 100mg nic in 100% PG base with planned use at 12mg.

I am going to use round numbers for this project and finished product is to be 50/50.

Step of the 1L with 1L of PG and now 2L at 50mg.

Step on the 2L with 2 L to arrive at 4L at 24mg.

Now mix the 4L of 24mg with 4L of VG.

Would I now have 8L of 50/50 base at 12mg?? 800 little 10ml bottles?? Roughly 4200$ for about 150$ plus flavorings.

Is my math close??

I'm doing it now but simple stuff like buying 36mg in PG and stepping on it 50% with VG to arrive at 18mg. Even that is stupid cheap but I been wondering if a couple bottles of 100mg in the freezer would be ok as a semi-prepper.

Store made juice here is about 7 bucks a 10ml bottle with a name brand about 10 bucks.

I don't know what the future brings but do expect NY to lead the way in the iron fist department.

That's about how I do it, just in smaller quantities. I buy 100 mg, cut it to 50 in a 60ml squeeze bottle as I need it. I have VG and PG in squeeze bottles too so, I just cut to the level I want in smaller bottles. I just eyeball it in halves or thirds, so it's 25 or 16. I can always go lower if I want. Sometimes I use the little ponytail rubber bands around the bottle for marking levels while I'm cutting. It really doesn't have to be complicated unless you're flavoring and concerned about precise pg/vg content.

I find that just using 100mg for DIY is by far the cheapest and easiest way to do it, and it stores much more easily that way too -- I've got 13 30ml bottles of 100mg nicotine -- that's enough, for me, for 2 to 2 1/2 yrs -- and it all fits in a small box that the 30ml bottles came in, in my freezer. I can keep 30ml in the fridge and use out of that, since it's so concentrated and I never make very large batches of juice -- 60ml is the biggest so far, though I'm about to go up to mixing 120ml of my regular ADV.

All you need is a good ejuice calculator; there's eJuiceMeUp, and another that is my own favorite, DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors With Nic. - PG/VG Adjust .

Place on Madison St in Oneida and another place on 5 in Vernon. Place in Syracuse was my favorite.

I don't actually buy from them anymore. Been buy pre-made from Vape Wild til I switched to DIY from MFS. But I use a very basic formula. Its crazy how simple and cheap even basic stuff is.

If I had upper chalant tastes I might be in trouble but I'm easy.

In Syracuse I went to Evolution. Was hooked on there CNY until I learned to make it. They are the only local place I have been that sells larger bottles, 50ml at $25 and 120 at $50. I have to go to Runnings today I will try and try that other place.

I ordered a 1L bottle of 100mg yesterday.

MFS sells a 1l bottle for $50 in plastic and no coupons or 65 dollars in glass and can use coupons. Current deal is 20% off 100$ plus free shipping. So by adding other stuff the 65$ nets to $52 to your door while the 50 nets at 60.

I'm doing real simple for now. 36mg in PG at 50/50 VG. I was a bad smoker and I'm a bad vapor so costs were a consideration.

Moving to the 100mg is more math but I'm up for it. Flavorings are an art OTOH but somewhat over rated. I had some of my old favorite left I was saving for a "treat". Awhile ago I filled a tank with it and found I prefer my bathtub stuff.

No math needed at all with DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors With Nic. - PG/VG Adjust -- trust me, if math were necessary, I'd still be smoking! :D

I found that buying 60mg bottles is cheaper for the same amount of nicotine but that will vary with different suppliers.I mix 250ml of pg based nicotine with 1000ml of PG to get an 80/20 PG/VG mix and 12% nicotine. my flavorings are PG based so 15% of my PG comes from the flavoring I buy my nicotine at RTS VAPES for those who want to check my numbers and compare pricing

But it's not actually "the same amount of nicotine" -- you'd have to use almost 2 of those 60mg bottles to equal what comes in one bottle of 100mg nicotine.

This is just a basic math question for purposes of keeping the old brain firing. If I were to actually start mixing this stuff up I understand I would need a far better understanding.
Base Nicotine mg. (100 mg.) / Desired Nicotine mg. (12 mg.) * Total amount of Base Nicotine (1000 ml.) = 8333.33 ml. of juice.
