Nice little SpreadSheet to workout 'REAL' Savings

EDIT MODIFIED TO INCLUDE juice / CART INVENTORY AND DAYS SUPPLY REMAINING

Inspired by the signatures people have, they are real cool and keep me going.

But I wanted something a little more accurate and had my expenses in as well.

So attached is a spreadsheet that I am willing to share that I have created to allow you to

1. Put in your expenses
2. Shows how much Analog to Digital has cost / saved you.
3. Shows Number of Analogs not smoked and days quit
4. Combines it all into a true +'ve -'ve figure with expenses added in.
5. Uses this number and your current rates to calculate your break even point in days.


Feel free to download, tailor to your own needs.

If you make any changes you would like to share, please post them back here for all to share.

To use, edit out my info and put in your own such as expenses / cart price / no smoked.

THE PARTS IN BLUE NEED TO BE ENTERED BY YOU

The monetary price is arbitary so can be UK or USA or anything you like.


As you can see my signature says break even is in 10 days, but my spreadsheet with all expenses actually shows about 50 days. Although I do need to calculate my cart price from 0.6 to a real figure so hopefully it will come down.

me too, in denial, but wanted to know.

To be honest I don't really care about the cost, my health is what matters and I feel much better for it.

At this rate, I will probably break even in 2 months if I don't buy any more toys

Funny thing, prior to opening your post, I had just gone thru my PayPal acct for other reasons and did in fact add up my total investment to date, over the last 5 months
I have spent over 2600 dollars for my and my wifes ecigs and carts and pretty much everything. and I have a great arsenal of items

I would easily go thru $700.00 a month on analogs prior to the tax increase, besides the fact that you always need cash to buy analogs daily. I was not a huge carton buyer

So, I am quite ahead in the electronic cig cost, compared to my analogs

Now, I feel so much better, thanks, I think I will go buy something
any ideas!!

I have updated it to have a separate sheet to put your juice inventory.

It works out how many days worth of Carts and Juices you have remaining and also totals them.

look at bottom left of the spreadsheet to see another tab called INVENTORY (for those that aren't so used to excel)

Nice spreadsheet. Sadly, I'll probably never break even, as I'm one of those who'll likely end up owning every kind of ecig I can get my hands on. Two weeks in and I've already spent $300 or so, and I'm still drooling over several others.

LOL me too, but was fun doing it. Also the inventory part will help too.

Finally done plugging in my info....I am like -500, lol. But with cigs up in price, it might be less soon. I also added the date to all my purchases--the seller, and what I bought. Beats copying receipts and pasting them to one draft in my email, then adding up! So thanks much!!!!!! (I love spreadsheets! but am usually too lazy to make them)

She has nicely split out the columns for expenditure for Batteries, atomizers, chargers juice etc etc

So at a glance she can see what has been bought and inventory.
