Rob, did you do any grands?

Who got one? Pics!!!!!

Last I talked to Rob he said he would have to think about the Grands.
I don't think he wants to (or should have to) run them and wind up with the same loss as he did the minis.

And none have been sold yet, once they are you will see pics.

Now I need to buy another mini, Stop making them look so sharp!

;)
Sorry my friend I just make what you folks ask for :)

will you continue to make nickel bodies or will they be able to be purchased as a special order?

Edit: also is it possible to make a white door?
I am up in the air on the nickel plated mods if I do run them again I will try another shop.I was under the impression they would be shiny and there not they have a flat look to them .I have to run some test mods before I dive in deep

Hmmm... any chance these will be available on Friday??
I will have nickel plated mini mods on friday

I've purchased Millions of dollars worth of plating jobs, and I don't really understand whats happening.

For a 50 Qty, they should be wire and racking them to dip .... How exactly are they scratching them ??
I have two shops within 15 miles from my house that would hang them and dip, then they wrap individually in brown paper.

The fact that they are scratching them is unacceptable .....
Again, sorry for trouble. Thanks again for trying for us though.

Yeah, and you would think that if the scratches are in the plate, that they could strip and re coat them...unless they are so deep that they're into the parent metal...

If I had to guess, I'd say they're scratching them during packing/shipping... which is totally unacceptable. A dip shouldnt do that...

It is the shop that makes the doors that is scratching them. Rob said that he has complained to them many times. This is the same problem he had with the polished anodized versions. It is not the finish but the underlying aluminum plate. Apparently the non polished anodizing hides the scratches.

That is correct its the machine shop that scratches the doors.I have gone through a couple machine shops as most of you no.I have complained about it from day 1.The only way I will ever get perfect doors is if I do it myself.I am working on it but I am running hard as it is to keep up
