Hello, I've been vaping for...three years now. However I stopped for a month and a half due to a hospital visit caused by a surprise panic attack. Anyways, I got diagnosed with Generalized anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Now...the thing is. This is my OCD coming out. For the past three years I've been vaping 2.4 and filling up my atomizers once a day...I probably take maybe... 100 to 200 hits per day. So, is there any bad effects that can happen if I vaped at 2.4? I use a kangertech Evod with a nautilus with old whicks. Thanks

Nope if it works it works. Some people lower their nic, some don't. Depends on a lot of factors. It's all personal preference. I started at 24 and now I'm at 3. My friend started at 24 and he's at 18. Another friend is at 12 started at 18. So it varies from person to person.
What do you mean? I'm just worried if it can cause any I'll effects, primarily because of my anxiety disorder causing me go get scared. The liquid I use is from gas stations as I can't afford much. Do you think running off 4 month old wicks could be bad?

Nicotine is a stimulant so it can raise your blood pressure and heart rate, leading to anxiety. The wick, really it's about flavor. When they go bad, the gunk inside starts to burn and tastes bad. That's a long time for one coil though but if it tastes good and is wicking properly then it's no big deal. I've dealt with anxiety most of my life, and cigarettes actually helped with it a great deal that's how I started smoking. Vaping also helps, but too much nic and i get a high that I wasn't expecting and that can lead to anxiety.

So, vaping at 2.4 won't harm me unless I'm taking thousands of hits a day, right? Because I take maybe 2 hits a minute on a stressful day and 5 hits a minute, then stop using for five minutes and take another five hits...that's still okay, yes?

With the equipment you're using, your nic level should be fine, just pay attention to your body and you'll know when you've had too much.

As for the liquids, aren't gas station liquids like $10 for 10-15ml? There are quite a few inexpensive juice vendors online, like around $5 for 15ml. Check out Mt Baker Vapor, or ITC vapes.

I was a heavy smoker and rolled my own for years and when I started vaping I thought I'd better go for the strongest e-liquid I could find locally, which was 24mg. I got myself off the cigs, which involved a lot less drama than I was expecting, I was very pleasantly surprised. When I'm having an occasional lazy day at home, I tend to chain vape and using the little ego/CE4 device I had at the time, 24mg posed no problems for me. As Lessifer said above, a lot depends on the gear you are using, I wouldn't consider using 24mg in a dripper for example. After a while, I went to stock up on some e-liquid one day and they had ran out of all the 24mg's, so I picked up some 18 instead, but I remember at the time being a bit worried about feeling extra cravings or some sort of withdrawal because I was dropping nic levels (still quite new to vaping at this point) and I didn't feel any difference in the vape at all. That started me off on the path of slowly lowering my nic levels, which is now down to 6mg. Having said all this, everyone has different gear and their sensitivity to the substances in our e-liquids varies so what works for me might not work for someone else

I also have General anxiety disorder and mild OCD. I'll raise you some PTSD too lol.
You're going to be fine. I've used 18mg in my nautilus's and chain vaped it and been fine. But if you're worried about the dosage hurting you, like an overdose, you can stop. 24mg is a pretty normal dose you can buy on most sites (they wouldn't be selling it if people weren't buying it after all) and as long as you're vaping it, it won't be a problem. Especially at 200 or so puffs a day. I have mornings that are 200 puffs sometimes. As long as you aren't rubbing it on yourself or drinking it the worst you'll do is a headache. So whenever I refill I make sure to wash my hands with soap and water after and wipe the tank off with a tissue, just to be safe in regards to skin contact, even though the amount you'd actually get from incidental contact during a refill is negligible, but hey, I have anxiety as well. Anyways, I ramble. Hope that helps you feel better. And since I'm a fellow anxiety disorder guy, if you ever have any questions or concerns about anything and you don't want to ask it to everyone, feel free to PM me on here anytime okay? I'm usually on around this time since I'm up all night and sleep all day.

Agree with previous Posts. Especially with dumping the C-Store and Smoke Shop Junk-Juice and moving to a Source like Mt Baker.
You are NOT saving any cash and you ARE vaping Crap if wasting your Green at those Purveyors of Poo.
Another thing to consider,,,,
With all those self-outed Psychological Issues (think most of us here share one or two of those inherent sometimes difficult to manage Assets & proclivities),
it is highly possible and most probable that They and not the Nic are the real Issue.
Relax, Vape wisely, Remain Calm, Enjoy.
