Hi There

I’m a newbie to e-cigarettes and loving it!!!! I got myself a starter kit and everything is going great, however I’m using the e-cigarette that contains nicotine in the cartridge itself so I don’t have to fill it with drops. What is the difference between the 2? I can only buy cherry, tobacco or mint flavor and all is good enough for me.

Another thing to consider once you are used to your PV is direct dripping. I am also new to vaping but have already found that I prefer to drip. Refilling cartridges got old fast.

Basically you take the filler out of a cart, remove it from the PV, and drip the liquid directly onto the "wick" of your atomizer. Put the cart back on and vape away. It takes practice! You have to keep the "atty" wet but not too wet.

I use an eGo with a drip tip so I don't have to pull the cartridge off. Now that I'm used to how wet I need to keep the atomizer it's REALLY easy. I just put 2 drops in, vape until the taste changes, then it needs 2 more.

I find dripping results in WAY MORE vapor as well as a better taste. BUT, be warned, you DO NOT want to do this if you have an automatic battery! As in, no button. You can destroy the battery doing this.

I hope this helps.

Sorry to hear that. The first PV I got was junk, I bought it at a gas station. Since then I got the eGo and I'm really happy with it. Don't give up, I'm sure you will find one that will work better for you. Alot of the veterans around here recommend the Joye 510 with cartomizers to new users.

Your best bet would be to look online. I think I read somewhere that cignot.com has good deals on the 510.

Ok well i went to the shop and complained, they replaced it with the liquid one, it's called Kwik Quit. I also got some drops and really excited now, but need to charge it once again for a couple of hours.....See i live in South Africa so we use different ones over here but i'll check this one out and hopefully it works better! Thanks for the help.

Helen, it sounds like you got the same first PV as I did. It took me a whole day to realize that it was not a good one. I trashed it right away and got a DSE 901 kit. It was a much better unit for less money than I spent on the "Health-e-Cigarette". Darn near everyone who responds to threads in the new members forum is going to tell you to get a 510 or an eGo (which is a 510 with a bigger battery) which is a fine PV but contrary to popular belief, it's not the only one. I've used both and my personal preference is the 901 because it's better at producing rich flavor. Get a better PV and maybe a little higher level nic juice and I bet those cravings will go away. Did for me.

Helen, without liquids, you can't continue to use your e-cig. No matter WHAT model you're using. Now, to prove Mist right, I WOULD suggest a 510. But, whatever you choose, make sure it's a MANUAL, make sure you order some LIQUID and make sure you order some spare ATOMIZERS. Then, you'll be good to go!!

Good luck!! :)
