Hello. I am a 35yr old female. I am diagnosed ADD, prescribed Ritalin as a teen, but never liked the way it made me feel so quit taking it at 17. I have struggled with depression and anxiety on top of my ADD throughout my life. I smoked from age 9-29, and have been smoke free 6 1/2 years now. I also overcame drug addiction'clean 14 years. The last 6 1/2 years my struggle with depression has worsened. I have developed a serious eating disorder and have gained weight. I have recently read about the positive benefits of nicotine for a person with ADD, depression and anxiety. I am interested in trying the e-cigs/vapor cigs to see if I may benefit. My husband thinks it is not a good idea to re-start an addiction that was so difficult to overcome.Reluctantly, after some research, has agreed that it is worth a try. I am interested to hear how e-cigs have helped others with similar challenges in their life's. Also, where and with what would you recommend as a starting point for me, and I have never vapped before! Thank you.

Oh honey you just described me 20 years ago. That said I'm not a doc and I really think you should start there. That also said I think vaping has helped my ADD and depression. It's given me something to focus on and enjoy and because of the ADD I get bored sooooo easily but trying new juice flavors and devices and tanks has kept it fun. Do you have a local B&M you can go to and try some things? If you do give it a try, if they are any good they can really help you out. If not, try a nice EVOD starter kit OR read some more and start with a MVP v2 and some different tanks and some nice juice. I spend way too much time researching before I pull the trigger online but I'm doing just fine and I'm very new. By the way everyone has a favorite set up, do some research and pick what you think works for you. I'm probably not going to be a dripper or someone who rebuilds stuff, it hurts me just to read about it and consider it.

PM if you'd like to talk more.
