Thanks! So perhaps low would be a better option than none? I'm a fairly heavy smoker now but hoping something like this can help with that
If you're a heavy smoker and this is your first Ecig Kit prolly a good idea NOT to worry about the amount of nicotine at first. Vaping is a far less efficient nicotine delivery system than smoking cuz the vape particles are too large to be absorbed via the lungs. Most absorption takes place in the mouth and nasal areas. My GP believes nicotine is no worse than caffeine...it just has the stigma of being associated with the smoking of tobacco.

+1

If you can make the switch to a low or zero nicotine vape, more power to you. But understand going in that zero nic is not going to be anywhere near the sensation of smoking, particularly on a weak ecig like the Blu. You can do it, but making the switch using a higher nicotine level will make giving up cigs much easier.

There are a bunch of us. Even a place set aside for us. Most had to give up the nicotine early, for medical reasons. The chaemical aspect of the addiction is only part of it. There is also the hand-mouth habit, and a primitive part of the brain that thinks "If I just keep puffing on that stick, maybe eventually I will get some nicotine." Valuing the senses of smell and taste are something new. Makes giving up the stinkies a good deal. As well as the tendency to substitute food for ciggies. I interpret TH as being painful.

Oh-- albanese-- it's you asking that question. Of course you know there are. ;)

do not, DO NOTTTT start vaping with 0mg nic. you will probably fail if you were a heavy smoker, you will not get the nicotine that you need and you will probably go through withdrawal, and go back to real cigs. why worry about the nicotine? who cares really if you are getting nicotine, it is not harmful, and you won't be getting the 4000093202 chemicals that are in real cigs. start with the high from blu, it is not that strong at all, with blu at least. i started with high and had to vape a lot of the cartridges, their high is only...well the site says 13-16mg nicotine, i don't know why they can't give a single amount. but anyway, 13-16mg is what is in half a pack of cigs, but in reality you are only getting HALF of that nicotine vaporized into the vapor, so 8mg in the vapor for the whole cartridge, and then you are not absorbing ALL of that either, so you will get even LESS nicotine from the entire cartridge. so probably less than 8mg of nicotine you will get from the entire cartridge. which is like 8-9 cigs.

seriously, do not worry about the nicotine, you can lower yourself down later. it's better to stop cigs first then worry about nicotine later. or not worry about nicotine later, at least your not smoking real cigs.

Thanks for the advice all. Really do appreciate it. Not necessarily looking to give up smoking, as i do enjoy the sensation of it.. Just looking for a healthier alternative..plus my wife quit a few months back and has been diagnoised with lyme so i hate smoking around her..ive tried a couple basic ecigs before...my only problem is i dony, know when to stop puffing haha

She might be a good candidate for 0mg, since she already quit, and is under stress from the temptation of a smoker in the house.

I started with blu, it was a good experience because it's about as plug and play as you can get for vaping. Plus, it made me comfortable with the idea of vaping and made me realize I wanted more from the whole experience. The downside of blue is the price, and the short functional life of the cartos.

blu is far better than cigarettes, but if you're looking for cost savings as well as health benefits, you might try a nice cheap ego battery setup with some cartomizers. Heck, you can even order some blue cartos and puff them on a device that lasts 10x as long and cost you 1/10th of the money.

and for the advice you actually wanted, high nic is the best place to start for blu. You might try to mix in some medium, but they won't likely make you as happy or take as much of the edge off the nic rage from no cigaretttes.

If you do get the Blu get the 100Premium, I have the regular premium pack and like 7 batteries, I wish I got the 100Premium to start off with, it will last longer, the battery life and catridge life both will last longer. As the poster above you said, you can even just get an ego battery by itself and a charger, and use the blu 100 cartridges with it, the battery will last a lot longer than even the blu 100 and the cartridge will work better also.

you can get a ego-t 1000mah battery, which will last ~10 hours here: https://www.cignot.com/product_p/egt-bat-al1.htm

charger here: https://www.cignot.com/product_p/ego-usb-chg.htm

that's like 29 bucks total, last you all day really. you will only have one battery so you wouldn't be able to vape while charging, but you say you don't want to quit completely anyway so I don't think it's that big of a deal, i have the same exact battery it charges in like 2-3 hours to full.

then you could just use any 510 connection cartridge to put on it and vape. blu carts are 510 connection, lots of other are too although I can't think of any right now. johnson creek has prefilled cartridges that are 510 connection, they are the same people that make the juice for blu.

Most vendors have some sort of ego battery, whether it's in a kit, or sold separately. A place to start could be vaporbeast.com, look for the ego batteries. I would recommend the spinner/twist ones that have a variable voltage setting. You may not know much about it now, but if you just set it to 3.4 Or 3.7 And leave it there until you learn more or get new stuff to take advantage of the capability, you won't be sorry you have it. If you buy a battery by itself, be sure to nab a charger, and don't forget some cartomizers (i recommend trying boge, kanger and smoktek), or clearomizers, and you can try some juice from there, or if you like the blu flavors, you can get them from Johnson creek's web site in bottles.
