Finally got my first e-cig a while ago... Wound up with what's called the 'super-mini', (I guess).
After about a week of using it began having battery issues, just not holding a charge. And getting a taste of that nicotine on my lips, which is really bad!
And that was just not with the one I received, but a neighbor combined his order with mine and he had the same issues.
Well the company was real nice about it, said to return both kits and they would be replaced, which they were and even covered all the postage, even for the return.
Received our new kits, these batteries seem to be better, but still only lasting about 3 hours. But we still seem to have this issue of the nicotine getting on our lips, which isn't a good taste!
Contacted the company again, they claim that no one else had this complaint with their products, suggested once opened, to leave the cartridge out to air for about 5 minutes before using.
That didn't solve the issue... My neighbor eventually just totally gave up on his, not even using it anymore. I'm still 'trying', but seem to be trying less and less every day because of that nicotine taste getting on my lips.
Did I start off with the wrong model? I tried doing as much browsing and research before I made my purchase.
Could my supplier have got a bad batch of cartridges? I did open several brand new cartridges that seemed to have 'nothing' in them, like dead, no vapor, nothing...
Should I buy a pack of cartridges from another supplier and see if there's a difference?
Has anyone else experienced the nicotine taste getting on their lips?
Through my personal experience thus far, the e-cigs may be giving your body the nicotine it craves, but I'm finding that's not the only part of the addiction to overcome.
With a regular cigarette you do get that rush of smoke into your lungs, that you don't get with an e-cig. Although not a good thing, and yes sometimes triggers the coughing and hacking from smoking all these years, that's something that seems to be part of the addiction as well that needs to be overcome.
Anyway, my biggest concern at this point is the issue with the nicotine getting on my lips. I'm still willing to continue trying my e-cig, but have to admit making several trips back to the cigarette store to stock up on regular cigarettes before prices go up again!
I'm also finding that I can only use an e-cig for so long, before I have to light up a real one...
