So I have been rebuilding my wicks in 325 and the results I found were quite satisfying.. but after reading through everything I decided to get some 500 mesh and see what all the fuss is about. Is it normal to get an exceptionally strong nicotine hit off 500 SS? I mean strong as in that super buzz you get off nicotine after not having it for like 24 hours +.

It sounds like you're getting much better wicking results. If you make your juice, just cut the nic level down.
this is one of the benefits of a geni type system using mesh, when it works right it works exceptionally well.

Yep a properly setup genny delivers more usable nicotine than any other type of device.

leads one to believe that the nicotine TH from 500 SS would be less than 400, but all the rules get thrown out once you reach 500 so it seems. the wicking and the TH appear to be through the roof, which is awesome news.
