Nicotine in a plastic bottle

How long can I keep my nicotine in a plastic bottle? I have some on order from American Science Supply but it seems like they are taking forever to get here. I have heard of the chemicals in the bottle leaching into the nicotine. How long do you think I'm safe keeping it in there?

I store all my unflavored nic in glass bottles. Just in case.

Just to clarify...

I know that I need to store it in glass bottles. What I want to know is how long is it okay to store it in the plastic? My bottles should be here hopefully by Saturday.

Depends on the type of plastic, but I doubt much will change with your nic solution before Sunday.

It is a slow process...

If it is PET plastic and you keep it in the refrigerator it can keep up to 2 years.
