I agree the better your delivery system is the more vapor your getting. I can imagine with that vape pen, you had to pull like heck to get a decent vape if you even got one from a vape pen. You try to pull that hard with the Istick you just might end up with a headache and sucking in your eyeballs. Let the Istick do all the work and take nice easy constant pull.

I know exactly how you feel. I recently switched to a kanger subtank mini at 0.5 ohms after smoking an aspire nautilus mini for a year at 1.8 ohms. When I first got the subtank I threw in my 18mg liquid and damn did I have a nicotine high after an hour of vaping that thing. I went down to my local shop yesterday and picked up some 6mg juice and everything has been smooth sailing now. So yeah I would cut back your liquid to 3mg and see how that works out for you. I know it probably feels like that isn't going to hold you over since you smoked 18mg all the time because that is the exact same thing that me and my girlfriend thought. These guys are right though all the extra vapor that your subtank is producing makes it so that lower nicotine holds you over the same as if you were smoking 18mg out of your vape pen.

I have noticed since I began vaping a couple months ago my craving for nicotine has decreased....I can go hours without a vape, unlike cigarettes.

Perhaps it's the "special carcinogens" BT adds to cigarettes which is more addictive than nicotine.

Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

its just a plain fact that the "extras" are in there to make you crave it more.....

I was also using 18 mg liquid with my protank2/evod/vivi nova. The coil heads were around 1.6 to 1.8 on my mvp at about 7 to 9 watts.

Got a new set up: Lemo drop and a ipv mini and I HAD to lower my nic level down to 6. I have not had any headache issues or anything like that.

It might be that your not drinking enough water. Vaping really de-hydrates you so make sure you to drink plenty of water.

Could possibly need to lower the nic level. If your chain vaping like all day I would defiantly suggest lower the nic level or just try to put the thing down lol. I know it's hard to put down a good mod that makes clouds but if it's giving you head aches, something isn't right.

Did the subtank have any machine oil on the inside when you got it? I mean it probably didn't have any but then again it's always a good idea to give it a good cleaning before putting juice in it and vaping on it.

Hi, I used to have a vape pen and used 18mg nicotine eliquid. I just purchased a sub mini tank and istick 30 watt. I've reduced my eliquid strength to 6mg but I'm getting headaches and feeling sick at times. Is there anything I can do about this?

Still the same base ratio and flavor you are using? Maybe it's just a normal reaction. Takes time.

I would try reducing PG level as well. I've had clients who complained about the same issue, I ended up reducing both nic and pg levels to fix it. As for the craving for nicotine lowering over time, it's true. Something a lot don't realize is that tobacco contains 4 other addictive chemicals that are directly related to nicotine, and addictive like nicotine. Nornicotine, Myosmine, Cotinine and Anabasine. Nornicotine when in processed or cured tobacco becomes a carcinogen, and still addictive. So when you finish withdrawing from these, all that's left is the Nicotine, and it isn't nearly as addictive as you might think by itself.
