Hey all - I received my second order a few days ago, including a bottle of nicotine juice. I'm not quite sure how to use this stuff. I bought it to mix up different levels of nicotine, from my larger bottles, but after looking at the bottle, I see that it's marked "low", and it's a very small bottle (6 ml). I didn't realize I could choose the strenght, and I just saw on the site that this can be vaped on its own. Oops! Should have ordered a bigger bottle! And I must have been multi-tasking when I ordered, to miss these details. And all the juice I ordered is 0 nic.

So, I took an empty bottle (one of MrsT's 6 mg bottles), poured some vanilla custard, 0 mg, into it, and guesstimated about how much nicotine juice I'd need to add to get any effect. The bottle was filled halfway (3 ml or so) and I added another ml of nicotine juice. At 14 mg per ml, I guess that brings me to a level of (trying to do the math, here...) around 3 mg and some change. And it watered down the flavor so much I can barely taste it. *cries*

So, what's the best way to do this? Order the high level, obviously. Is 30 mg the highest you can go? I'm looking for something that I won't need to use much of, just to customize my own levels of nicotine, not something to vape on its own (though I may try that with this current stuff!). If not here, can someone please DM me where I can get some more concentrated nicotine juice? I pretty much only use MrsT's juices, but I can't afford to buy all different strengths of nicotine. :-/

I would go to the "New Members" section and check out the threads in the top for MissressNomad's videos. She has some great info there and some how to DIY (make your own juice) tips. Also, she reccommends an e-juice calculator for mixing the nicotine. It sounds like you're wanting to DIY anyways. Also check out the DIY section of this forum as well
Good luck to you!

Okay, thanks! I don't really want to mess with flavors, just nicotine strength. I'll check over there and see what I can dig up. :)

Okay if you need some straight up strong nic juice to fix this, aif I'm understanding this, you'll want some strong stuff to not dilute the flavor too much. You can get it here : http://www.xtremevaping.com/index.php

Never used it, don't know the smallest amounts you can order. There is a link to the scubabatdan's famous calculator in the top left corner for you to download that'll make your head hurt alot less or if you just need to do a quick calc just take the nic level you want to end up with, remember that's per mL, and the amount of mL you are making and what it's level is. Okay, this isn't making much sense is it? LOL

Example...you are starting with 6 mL of 0 nic and you have a bottle of 50mg/mL nic juice. Say you wanna get to a level of 10mg. 6 mL x 10mg = 60mg of nic you need to put in that bottle. So you're using 50mg juice. You want 60mg in your 6mL juice bottle. 60/50mg = 1.2 mL of the 50mg nic juice you wanna put in an empty 6mL bottle and fill the rest with your flavored 0 nic juice that you accidentally bought. Maybe that makes sense but if not there's the calculator to stupid proof it for all of us.

Another option to not lose any flavor as you noted is to buy all the flavors you bought at 0 nic and want to fix in the higher level from T (she might mix you higher than 30 if you ask) and that way you won't lose ANY flavor in the juice. But the cheapest is to order like a bottle of the 100mg nic juice from that site I listed above and use the calculator.

Excellent! That's exactly what I was looking for! And you already did the math for me, awesome! Thanks!

hi Neemy,
i DIY all of my juices. i use ScubabatDan's calculator for everything. you can download it in his digital signature here.. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...e-calculator-added-quantity-calculations.html . it's an excel sheet. it comes complete with instructions and even some recipes. it is a wonderful DIY tool. Happy Vaping!!!

Thanks for the link! I'm definitely gonna need a calculator, because counting on my fingers isn't cutting it.

Neemy, Don't guess when mixing. Use accurate measurements. Check out my FREE eJuice Me Up calculator. Just released version 7.1 with many extra features added including Ratio Percentage and Flavoring Percentage thanks to ScubaDan and Spring Bird for their Ratio formula help. Some recipes are shown with flavoring adding up to 100%. My eJuice calculator can help breaking it down to usable percentages for your mixing needs.

My pleasure to help. I like your sig. I got an organizer, but now my organizer needs an organizer. My living room is getting quite cluttered but mostly I know where things are and there are no kids around so it's all good in the hood.

Ha, thanks! I just got one of those plastic organizers with drawers, yesterday. The shoebox I was using was not cutting it, anymore. I still want to find one with different sized compartments and a handle. I have one somewhere just like that from when I was an art student, but it's packed it a box, somewhere. It would be *perfect* for this.

Thanks! I just downloaded it, but it's an .exe file, and I use a Mac. :( Do you have a version for OS X?

Is there no application that allows you to use Excel files on your Mac? Forgive me for I am ignorant of all things Apple sans the iPod. I suppose you can't use the scubabatdan one either? Oh, Ms. T had posted a super simple web based one somewhere maybe you can find that if you search forum "calculator" then again that could yield some 600 results maybe just look for the Ms. T posts.
