A friend recently brought back some E-juice bottles from a trip to the US, they are premixed with nicotine and the label on the bottles read:

I was just wondering as to w
hat mg cigarette strength they would equal to? They are 15ml bottles as well.

T
hanks for reading & your help guys! Not sure how to figure this out myself and I can't seem to type the right question into google :?:

100% Nicotine = 1001mg/ml

So

1.6% = 16mg/ml

and

2.4% = 24mg/ml

---

A Quick-n-Dirty way to do a % to mg/ml is to move the Decimal Point on the Percentage One Place to the Right.

24 mg/mL or (2.4%) is generally considered appropriate for heavier smokers, and 16 for moderate to heavy smokers, but it all depends on your individual response to the level. I was a very heavy smoker (2.5 packs a day) but started at 18 mg (1.8%) and that worked fine for me. I do still use 24 mg occasionally when cravings get too strong, but in general I've dropped down to 14 mg now. Drawing a direct equivalent from mg per cigarette to mg in juice is kind of hard. It's better to just try it and see how it works for you.

I'd grab some pg usp from the compounding pharmacy and 1 or 2 fruit flavours from the bulk barn or wherever. That way if you find it too strong it can be thinned with some pg and you could boost the flavour back up with a couple drops of flavouring. Of course you could use vg too, but pg is easier to work with, can't suck vg into a syringe for measuring and transferring.

That's just what I've done. Cheers.

I normally mix 3 - 4 ml nicotine per 30 ml bottle of ejuice so that would be around 10 - 15 mg average? So I think I may dilute the 2.4% one with nicotine free flavouring to bring it down around that area :)
