Nicotine level and dripping

I'm getting my first rda soon. But I've heard I need to go down in nicotine if I do? Why is this? I currently vape 50/50 12mg juice.

Welcome to ECF! You should definitely tone down the nic level if you're going to be dripping because in a dripper you're getting a lot more vapor and flavor so with that comes more nic than you would get from a clearo or whatever you're using now. I went from 24mg in my Aerotank to 6mg with my drippers. You can vape 12mg but I can't recommend it. It will probably destroy your throat. I had a sore throat for a couple days when I tried dripping with 24mg.

Yeah, you're getting a much higher concentration of vapor so more nicotine. You can try the 12 mg and see how it goes before you buy new juice. The worst that will happen is it will irritate your throat and or give you a head rush from the nic buzz

After you have been dripping for a while you will be able to dial back up ur nic if you want. You accustom to the new heavier vapor, the analog craving may return as it did for me, others maybe not. I just completed a bottle of 24mg that when I first vaped it I got the shakes sweats and headbuzzin. I kept going cause the juice was uber good lol and I some how got accustomed to it.. I vape 2-6mg normally; it was on sale and only in 24mg so I figured I would hack it down to 6mg but never did.

I have been vaping almost two years and now again cravings blasted to outer space again and now back to 2-6mg and know every now and then 18-24mg blast away then drop on in again-- seems very effective in my experience now..

For me, I only do 12mg (rarely) in a tank like my Lemo or a single coil setup on an orchid. I started at 24, then 12, then when I got into drippers I tried my 12 but I couldn't handle it lol. Now I do 6 in my drippers and in my tanks, but sometimes I'll do 12 in a tank if I have some lying around.

Depends on your nic tolerance and if you are a mouth to lung hitter or if you want to straight lung hit it.

For me, I have a high tolerance for nic and am mostly a mouth to lung with a lot of snorking (flavor!). So I can to run 36 in my drips and generally love it.

But if I am "trying" to do straight lung hits taking it way down is mandatory.
