Nicotine level

I have been on the e cig since yesterday. My carts have 18 mg which seems ok. I ordered several bottle of juice from freedomsmoke, all in 24 mg. Will this be too high and should I lower the nicotine with a 0 mg juice? I smoked 1 to 1 and a half packs of camel 99 blue which I think was a medium. Thanks for all the help on this board, I have only had 3 analog cigs today which is amazing and I am really liking the vaping. I should say that I ordered a few flavors which might not do well diluted.[/FONT]

I smoked 30 cigs a day and started at 12mg (24mg cut with 0mg to 12mg), but I found I was hyper-nervous, so I'm now on 6mg for regular vaping. But I picked up one trick from an old post and tried it. If I feel I really need a cig, I have a vape of 18mg. That seems to cure the urge, then I go back to 6mg.

I've said this several times in here. I'm not keen on advising high nic levels for anyone starting. I'd start low and work up, but everyone's different, so if you feel the urge to grab an analog, up the level and have a good long vape.

As a regular smoker, I found that 24mg is good and seems like a full flavor type of nicotine fix for me. I would say maybe go back to the 24mg that you ordered then eventually lesser yourself back down to what your goal is.

It seems everyone is different on this issue, you have to kind of feel your way through it. I was a pack to a pack and a half smoker of Doral Light 100s and I found 18mg to be way too much. I am currently analog free and vaping 8mg when I feel the urge and going as low as 4mg on some days.

It's my second day as well. It's 5:30 now and had only 1 morning cig! Wooo Hooo!
Well, it's a big step for me as i would have finished off nearly two packs by now.
Anywho, i'm starting with 34mg and hope to work my way down; makes more sense
at the moment. Dont' care about throat hit, flavors, or big clouds of vapor, it matters
most that i get my nicotine fix efficiently. i'd rather take fewer puffs with high nic
than more puffs with lower nic. Seems like i made the right choice.

Try the 24mg and see if you like it. If its to high you can cut it with 0mg juice, pg, or vg but like you said, it will dilute the flavor unless you cut it with flavored juice. You could also get another bottle of 12 mg and mixequal part of each = 18mg. Or if you want, sometimes its nice to have a higher nic in the morning..

I was POD for 25 years and started at 18mg - chain vaping

Tried to move that down to 12mg and after 2 weeks, didn't feel I was getting what I needed and moved back up to 18mg.

Now after a year at 18mg, I go to 24mg once in awhile to get the extra "stuff" but don't think I could make it may all day (chain) vape.

PS - I work at a PC all day so passthru makes chain vapin' OOOOoo too easy

PPS - but I agree with others....start low and see how you feel. Move to what works best for you. The 0mg as a cut option will give you best of all worlds

I started on 18mg Dekang, then tried 24mg, now somewhere between 24 and 36. Hit my ceiling at 48mg Atomic Cinnacide. Too stout for me.

As for me, I switch between 24mg, 12mg, and 6mg, depending on what I feel/time of the day/etc... In the morning I prefer something stronger, but during the course of the day, lower it down to 12mg (and sometimes even 6mg). But in general, it is hard to recommend anything -- it is a very individual question!

AC is pretty awesome. The most flavorful juice I've found so far. Almost thought the juice was leaking into my mouth the first time I tried it! One downside is that it pretty much takes over any atty/cart that you put it in forever. Also, it makes most other flavors seem weak by comparison.

My current fave is Geoff's Blend from TV. Its like banana bread with a little AC. Delicious!
