Nicotine levels, how is it measured?

Used to smoke Marb light 100's ... according to the juice I am now using to drip on my 510, it is 26 mg. Is that 26 mg per gram? mililiter? bottle? I am not sure how it is measured. I do know that I acidentally got a bottle of 30 mg instead of 26 mg and I really do not want to go overboard on the nicotine!

So what would you give for mg intake for someone who smoked about 8 Marb Lights a day and now uses a 510 to drip 10 - 15 drops a day?

Your mg measurement is milligrams per milliliter. So, if you have a 10 ml container of 26 mg, your whole bottle contains 260 mg of nicotine.

To my knowledge, the average cig delivers approx. 1.1 mg of nicotine to the smoker. As for your actual intake, I'm not sure. A more experienced vaper might be able to estimate what the drop to ml rate is like. Sorry I couldn't answer your questions fully, but I hope this helps!

So you are saying if i read correctly thet a 10ml bottle is eaqual to approx. 236 analogs Correct? So if you are a 1 pack a day smoker 20X1.1=you would need approx 22mg of nicotine. a two packa day would be approx. 36mg of nicotine. Am I working this right?

The math, honestly, doesn't matter much. How much nic is actually absorbed from a PV and actually enters your bloodstream is an unknown factor right now; estimates I've seen are as low as 10% and as high as 50% - and the actual amount could be outside that range!

That said, the real amount you got from your cigs is also a variable amount, as it depends more on how you smoked them than what they really were. It's possible, for instance, that you got more nic out of your Marl lights than I did out of my reds. It's also possible that you got less. The "official" nic amount in a cig is based on government tests, and the cigs were specifically designed to fool the government's smoking machine. Go fig.

If you want to dilute the 30 mg down to 26, it's not too hard to do. Get some zero mg juice (Glycerine, USP is cheap and readily available, and it's literally what we would call 0 mg VG - same exact stuff), and add a little to the 30 mg juice to cut it down to 26. The dilution factor would be 13 parts of your 30 mg to 2 parts VG.
