Wow, I won't ever get the same kick, huh? I guess I won't know until I experiment with different Nic levels and PG/VG ratios. I'd hope to be able to 'feel' it somehow. Maybe the nic fix will do it for me. I don't know, I guess I'd like a similar feeling to when I'm having a coffee and an analog. You know, a pick-me-up feeling. I'd like to get rid of analog forever. I wonder if just getting my nic fix through my pv will be enough.

I personally found that the actual pick me up from the e-cig is better, you just don't get the head rush. Nicotine is a stimulant, but the carbon monoxide acts as a system depressant. You get sleepy and drug down from it so your basically negating part of the stimulant properties. Simulation also helps the transition; throat hit, vapor, hand to mouth, all play a part in getting you from cigarettes to vaping. It may take some time, only a small portion of people quit analogs on the first day, but with the right equipment and juices you should do alright with it.

MarBro, that's an interesting tip. I'll definitely keep it in mind for the future. Whenever I talked about quitting cigarettes, I always thought that my coffee/morning cig would be the hardest to give up. So your idea might help. StormFinch- yeah, I don't think I'll be quitting analogs immediately. I might have one a day (maybe at the end of the day) or maybe not. I just don't know yet. All of this is still speculation for me, since my pv is due to arrive tomorrow.

I just started yesterday and what I did was to get the 24mg and 12mg in the same flavor. It was a happy accident. Also, the higher nic in the morning is just the thing to make it alright.

I noticed when I woke up I felt like I could actually breath. As opposed to that heavy weighed down feeling when I was smoking cigarettes. I hope this just keeps improving because it was frigging awesome.

I think all the advice I have read on this thread is good. I'd also like to add that it will take a little while to learn to vape on your PV. It is not like smoking an analog... you need a slower and longer hit to get the clouds of vapor and the taste and all. It took me a couple days to figure it out but am now very happy with my PV.... just need to get higher nic juice and hopefully will be able to quit analogs altogether. Happy vaping!

Good point Curlygirl. I usually take a couple of quick primer puffs to get it warmed up, then on the the third pull, I drag longer. That seems to produce decent vapor. I'm awaiting the arrival of some higher nic juices too, so that I don't have to smoke analogs anymore.

Be careful of making your mind up too soon. Experiment in little steps. I found that I NEEDED 36mg for my first few days. In a panic I ordered 30ml of 36mg and by the time it came in I couldn't handle more than 24mg. I bought more to thin it out and by the time that came in it was too much. What works for one person may be different for another but for me I went from 20 years of smoking 2 packs of analogs a day to vaping 3 ml of 12mg a day in one month. I hope it works out just as well for you without the years supply of liquid.
