I just wanted to know about the nicotine level in a bottle. If I have a 15ML bottle with 24MG of nicotine, does that mean that there is 24 mg of nicotine per bottle?

so, they say if a cigarette has has about 9MG of nicotine the body ingests about 1 MG of nicotine by smoking it.

So if a bottle of Vapor juice has 24MG of nicotine then I wonder how much nicotine the body ingests?

If anyone knows about what I am trying to get at, or can answer any part of my thread, or knows a good read on this subject, could you let me know?

Thanks

Todd

The mg content of nicotine is per ml.

24mg nic would be in 1ml of liquid.

24mg nic is also 2.4% if you want to look at it that way.

The amount of nicotine when compared to smoking can vary quite a bit. It all depends on how you smoke, and now how you vape.

For example, myself and a buddy of mine both smoked the same brand of cigs. I smoked probly double the count of cigs he did daily. But the funny thing is, is that he is stuck on 18mg liquid while I use 9-12 mg liquid. I vape quite a bit more heavily than he does though...

Nicotine from a cig absorbs much more quickly into your body than vaping does. Ive somewhat noticed that myself.

There are charts around that recommend nicotine content based on the type of cigs you smoked. As far as total cigarette content, Im not sure how they come up with thier numbers, Ive always seen/read it as 1mg per smoke. If that were the case, most 1 pack a day smokers would vape just over 1 ml of 18mg a day. Somehow numbers just dont add up correctly lol.

I think it really boils down to personal preferences and the fact that we are all different ;)

Are you at a point where you are unsure what to order? It may be best to order a few smaller bottles of liquid at different strengths to see what your needs are, without dropping a whole lot of cash.

Thanks for the info...

I wanted to know all this, but the real question I had was how the labels work. I am currently vaping 12 mg. I like to vape a lot so I like the lower levels. But I also like to do math and was geeing out on the levels per container...I also want to buy in bulk and need to understand the mixtures so I can make my own juice....Thanks again

Exactly, you can also think of it as a 24mg per ml nicotine level, as 2.4% nicotine by volume per solution. In that case, the amount of liquid is irrelevant.

Acutally, that is *almost* true; one of the DIY liquid vendors (can't remember which one) did an actual weight/volume chart on this. If you think about it, "mg" is weight, and "ml" is volume, so your percentages aren't going to be exact. For our purposes, probably "close enough for government work", but just so ya know....

Happy Vaping! :)

Well if those aren't exact, we're in a lot of trouble because hospitals use the same conversion for meds,:rickroll:Hahahaha

1ml of pure nic is 1014mg (not 1000) according to that vendor with the nic they used.

Just to help OP with their thinking...8mg cigarettes don't contain 8mg of nicotine, they'll deliver 8mg of tar.

The nic content is more like 0.8mg, but don't try to use that info to figure out what strength you should be vaping at. It just doesn't compare.
