Anyone know the equivalence of cigarettes to e-juice regarding nicotine levels?

I know there are a few factors:
The Mg% on the bottle isn't what you're actually receiving upon inhale.
Cigarettes has other chemicals that would intensify nicotine "buzz", etc.

Full Flavor = _Mg
Lights = _Mg
Light 100's = _Mg
Ultra Lights = _Mg
Ultra Light 100's = _Mg

Thoughts? Discussed in another topic? It was too broad to find a thread, lol.

No, it has been asked before by myself as a matter of fact, LOL
There are some weak general numbers going around attached to a website, but everyone is different and so are the analogs you can have 3 people all smoke Marb reds and choose different mg levels in e-juice.
I can tell you I used to smoke Santa Fe strawberry cigars, almost a PAD and I've been ok with 16mg of nic, however my last two orders were of 18mg and one 26mg to cut down with the VG I already have.
Clear as mud, huh? :)

I use to smoke full flavor cigarettes and decided to buy a couple bottles of 12mg and a 1 bottle of 18mg. The first vape from the 18mg after vaping the 12mg gave me a tiny little buzz that was enough for to know I was getting nicotine in my system. Now, I don't feel any buzz at all. Not even when I sleep for 8 hours and wake up to vape. I want to step the Mg% up a bit, but I'm going in the wrong direction of quitting it seems!

well, theres a 16 mg!
All kidding aside, it varies for everyone and it can vary from day to day with one, like yourself. There is nothing written that says you can't add a touch higher mg nic here and there if you should think you need to do so, but if you are just concentrating on "the buzz" effect <my opinion here> might be looking for a sign more than anything.
I am not looking at the e-cig as a quitting smoking device, should that happen all the better - if not least its way beyond better than analogs!

I smoked full flavors and lights (depending on what was cheaper) and I am fine with 16-18 mg ...but I vape more than I smoked
my wife smoked menthol lights and sometimes full flavor she prefers 24mg...but she probably vapes more like she smokes in short bursts and then puts it down...so part of it is preference part of it is how you adapt to vaping..
part of it is if you are using vaperite.com juice and you want to vape it just for the flavor so you blow through the entire bottle in a day...err maybe that is just me

Really I think the only answer is to have several strengths to try, particularly if you are new. While it would be nice to have a table that said if you smoked this, you use that liquid, its not possible to be that exact. I think the chances are if you were smoking 20 lights a day you aren't going to want to vape super high 36mg liquid, and you would look to the lower strength ranges (say 8-18mg). Or if you smoked 60 unfiltered cigarettes a day you are not going to be satisfied with low strength 11mg liquid, and you would look to the higher strength ranges (probably 24-36mg) But beyond that it's difficult to say.

I personally usually vape 24-26mg liquid, but occasionally 36mg or as low as 11mg depending on mood. I smoked unfiltered rollies.

I can only speak from what I have read on this forum. I have done no other research.
One pack of cigs = 20 to 21 mg, about 1mg per cig, Hence the "patch" which is a daily slow release nic supplement is 20-22mg. I think this only goes for the first or second stage. So the theory is that a one pack a day smoker takes in about 20 mg's a day with cigs and the patch matches it before slowly lowering the mg levels.

I read that it was also said that E liquid is measured per ml. So if the bottle says 18mg what it means is that its 18mg per ml.

This theory of nic mg measurement does support one idea... vendors say that one cart is = to one pack of cigs. Now if one cart holds one ml of juice and that juices was about 18mg to 20mg juice it would have the same amount of nic as a pack of cigs. Do you see my point? The nic mg level in that one ml of juice in the cart would hold about the same amount of nic as a full pack of full flav smokes. I know I have heard this from vendors and so have alot of other people. Its just hard to believe because its so easy to vape 1ml of juice compared to smoking one pack of smoke.

I have no idea if this is true or not but its the best explanation I've heard so far...
