First I would like to introduce myself as I have been lurking around for a while and thought it was finally time to join the community.

I started vaping for a month or so with an Ego-T i brought from the states with some coffee flavor Nicotine juice and from the moment I tried it I swore I would never have an analog again, the atmoizer burnt out and the battery failed after 3-4 weeks of use and now im back on them... probably cause I had no idea how to use it properly never cleaned the 2 atmoizers I had and realized I had to step up my knowledge if i wanted to quit cigs for good.

So I just brought a Provari v2, 3 different tanks types, 250ml's of flavorless nicotine, 10 boge XL SRs and 10 Smoktech Dual Coils and 5 Different flavored juices. All this gear cost me a mint but I spent hours reading various threads on this forum to make sure I was getting all the best equipment so I could set myself up to quit for good this time.

My first post here is a question about mixing in flavorless nicotine with the juice to get around 18-20mg of nicotine bottles, I can't afford to constently by juice from the states as shipping around $30 a pop so I ordered a decent amount from RTS vapes to ensure I could last 6 months without smoke (I budgeted $600 i spend on rollies every 6 months and the gear cost about that so wont be saving anything except for my lungs)

All my juice is the standard PG/VG = 80/20

The Flavorless Nictotine I got is 60mgs PG.

What ratio should I mix it, if anyone can help me out?

Before you do anything or mix anything I would download the Ejuice me up mixing calculator, here is one that can be found here = eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

Play around with it and get use to it, this should answer all your questions about how much 60mg to use , order some more flavoring there cheap, ecigexpresss has a nice supply, check out there thread. Or from whomever you wish of course there just 1 suggestion for a vendor, but they do specialize in flavorings from many different flavoring companies and have great pricing.

How many mgs is your nicotine base? Also try downloading the e juice me up calculator. It works really well. Also be very careful handeling any nicotine base thats over 36 mg. It can seep threw your skin and poison you . It can also from what I hear poison you just from the fumes. Maybe mixing outside would be a good idea and wearing gloves is a good idea as well.

Somewhere out there
Something I do with 60 nic is cut the nic in half by adding same amount in volume of the PG/VG ratio I want. Then freeze that until needed. That way you are working with 30 nic instead of 60 which is less toxic. 60 nic is toxic at that level. Then I cut my 30 nic in half to 15, & in half again when I am ready to use it since I am at 6 nic or below. I like using PG/VG/nic level at the % I make my juices from, that way all you need is the unflavored nic juice at correct level and some flavors. Easy Peesy :) Bnrk

Greetings from Canada! (The other Colony!) Welcome to ECF!

First, to make sure I understand things right so I can give the best help.

You have 60mg unflavored base and flavored no-nic base. Canada has similar restrictions so I think I know what you are trying to do.

Ejuicemeup is more for mixing from scratch and is excellent, but does not fit your circumstance easily.

Try eJuice Recipe Calculator. It has what you need in a simpler format.

Enter your:
<Nicotine base> <60>
<Target Nicotine Level> <18>
<Amount to Create> <10> or what ever you want
<Water added> <00> unless you want to thin it. 80/20 you won't need to thin.
<Flavor added> <00>

And read the results in the bottom panel. <3ml> nic base and <7ml> Flavored juice.

Realize you will be losing 30% of flavour because the base is unflavored.

You can do the math in your head but it is best to use a calculator to double check. 10% of 60mg = 6mg so to get 18 you need 3 of those which is 30%. 30% of 10 ml is 3 ml of base required. Since the only other thing you are adding is flavoured liquid, 7 ml will give you 10 ml. Just like that!

Relax, Enjoy!

ingredient ml drops* % of total
PG or VG with nicotine 3.0 ml 60 drops 30.0%
PG or VG (no nicotine) 0.0 ml 0 drops 0.0%
Water 0.0 ml 0 drops 0.0%
Flavoring(s) 7.0 ml 140 drops 70.0%

So Here's my idea mix, obviously I'll test it first with smaller ml's. Sound good for max flavour 18ml nicotine mix?

You have the basics to get started. One more suggestion; do not use drops as a measure. A syringe (3 ml) and needle (18 gauge or smaller number) (smaller number = larger bore) is best to measure. A Pharmacy or Veterinarian can usually supply these depending on local laws. Drops are not accurate because different viscosity liquids have different size drops. A pipette leaves liquid clinging to the sides, a syringe clears all the liquid from the walls.

For flavour variety, once you have the liquids in the desired strengths, you can mix a small amount of two or more different flavours together. You can use drops to measure this because, since everything is the same strength, you will only be changing the flavour and not the strength, and the measure is not critical. Menthol e-juice is handy to add a little zing to any flavour.

You can, sometime in the future, get some PG (maybe from a Pharmacy) and VG and flavoring (candy making flavouring (not extracts), and VG is used for cake icing) and try your own DIY. The e-juice me up calculator is great for this. I usually add 10% water to thin the juice because VG is very thick.

Relax, Enjoy!

Thanks for all your help X P3, I'll tell you how it goes when my flavorless nicotine arrives next week

When I first started, one of my oversights was 10 ml bottles. Luckily, through ECF, I found a local vaper who was willing to share! 10 ml bottles sure makes the math easy to double check.

Just curious, if nicotine is illegal, how is it obtained there? I see similar posts from Canada.

Not sure about OZ but in Canada, none of it is illegal, as such. HC prohibits importing, advertising, or selling e-cigs with nicotine. E-cigs with pre-filled no-nic cartos can be sold. Minimum pack of 5 no-nic cartos for $25!!

It is not prohibited to import, advertise or sell e-cigs without nicotine. Hence, one vendor can sell e-cigs and another sell nicotine (but not in a carto - get it, because that would be part of an e-cig!). Things are a little friggy at the moment, but we get by. And none of it is illegal if the right steps are followed.

Enjoy!

so if i want to get started i just buy some pg and vg, some flavorless nic high strength and a bunch of flavorings? What about etyhl maltol and sucralose? Can those be found at a supermarket?

Also if my flavorless nic is 60mg will the calcultor tell me howmuch pg and vg to add to make 10ml with 18mg nic from that 60mg bottle perhaps?

Sorry im a little confused

Try the two calculators in this thread. One is a down load the other is a website. Play with some numbers in them and you can see how they relate to each other.

Try Jugheads DIY section to see the different additives. I try to stay away from them myself so I don't really know where they are available. I think most Cotton Candy flavorings are nearly pure etyhl maltol.

Wow! Nice set up for your second time around.

Ok So need to make got this right Gaiseric you bought 250ml of 60mg. Did you get any concetrated flavors, if not you need water or oil(pg) based flavoring unless you wanna go flavorless. You should have no issue getting that in Australia just do some searching on the web. Also you need to get some VG or usp glycerin again you should have no issue finding it locally. .... they sell it at Walmart here as a skin softener.

Then just do the math to get to 20mg=1/3 60mg flavorless Juice 2/3 VG and flavoring. You'll have to play around depending on how much of a throat hit you want with flavoring. Plus adding VG will get you a better vapor cloud.

Hope this helps a little.:toast:

It's only illegal to buy and sell in Australia, we can import juices no problem at all. So most Aussie import pre-mixed juices from the US and China or buy no nic doublers locally and add their own nic. There's also the DIY crew of vapers. I prefer to import from the US myself, there's some great vendors with excellent juice, good postage pricing and fast delivery.
