I started trying vaping about 2 weeks ago. I'm not getting the same lasting effects from the nicotine as I did from analogs therefore, I'm still smoking analogs along with vaping. Am I doing something wrong or do you have to vape more frequently than you smoked? I'm currently using the Sensation from eSmoke & 16mg cartimizers. I regularly smoke Light 100's so I thought the 16mg would be equivalent. I normally smoked about 15 Cigs a day & I would go about an hour or more between cigs. The e-cig only seems to satisfy my nic urge for about a half hour & I vape for about 8 min. I'm waiting for the arrival of an order from V4L where I ordered a KR808-D1 and 24 mg. Cartos. Maybe I will have better luck with that. I really want this to work for me.

I was a pretty heavy smoker so I started with the KR808-D1 from V4L and 36 mg cartos. I have not smoked since, and I'm now down to 18 mg or 24 mg cartos, depending on my mood. Some people just need the higher nicotine to make it work. I think that you'll do well with the 24 mg cartos.

The WOW cartos/liquids from V4L in Coffee, Black Licorice and Peppermint are my current favorites. Good luck!

Welcome! I also started with a kr808 kit from V4L and am still using 808s. I have not smoked one analog since I started vaping and it's been a month. I was a pad smoker and I started out on 24mg. It was a little much for me and now I mix between 18-24mg. I can go a couple hours during the day and not even think about my pv but as soon as I relax at home, bam, I want it to hit it all the time! I think part of it is the novelty of it, I love the mixing and dyi. Hang in there and find your niche and it'll fall into place. I was three wks in before I finally got the hang of it all and really started tasting the flavors. I love it now. I call my pv, nicky. Where's my nicky? My kid thinks I've lost my mind...hehehe...

I used to smoke lights and have found 16/18 mg works pretty well for me.. I got a sample with my FreedomSmokeUSA order that was 24 mg and felt it was a little high for me (I vape it about half as long as I would other flavors). You just have to try a couple different nic levels until you find one that is right for you. My best friend smoked ultra lights and is using 6-8mg. Everyone is different.
Good luck :)

I think you'll be happier with your new stuff. Yes, you will vape more often than you smoked, at least for a while. Its common for people to need to start with what appears to be a higher nic content than what they smoked. If you desire to quit smoking use whatever nic content you need and dont worry about if you are vaping too much. Once you've settled into vaping if you wish you can attempt to SLOWLY lower your nic content and reduce the amount of time you vape although you may find that once in a while you'll still need to use a higher level of nic and have days that you vape constantly. Remember we're all different so do what works for you. Good luck!

I was a one pack/day cigarette smoker - sometimes a few more than a pack, never less, for 20 years. I use 24mg strength and find the nicotine satisfying 100%. I was pleasantly surprised. It's been only a few weeks for me, but I swtiched to vaping in an instant. I seem to use 2mg of liquid a day, at 24 mg strength. I feel the hit of nicotine and it satisfies the craving completey. I was really doubting it would too, and I'm so glad to have given this a try. I definitely think it matters to have the right hardware, and a good e-juice. I also think I'm not getting "too much" nicotine because I know what that feels like - when I smoked cigarettes, if I chain smoked without paying attention, I'd have a headache for the rest of the day, and feel al ittle queasy. None of that with vaping, for me, means not an excess of nicotine. Yet - again - it fully satisfies cravings. I've been bugging every person I know who smokes analogs to let me try to convince them to try vaping. I wonder if others who just switched do this same thing? Seriously, I'm a walking advertisement. :)

I am new to vaping myself and have had the same issues... I think some of it is mental for me - first thing in the morning it takes everything I have not to light an analog. I am hoping this will ease up after a while, since I really want to drop the analogs for good. On the advice of a friend, I keep I 24mg cart on a spare battery for the morning vape and it seems to help.

Yeah, if you quit analogs, you still have some withdrawal symptoms even if you get nic. It's just that vaping, combined with nic, is sufficient to give up analogs. There are 4,000+ chemicals in cigarette smoke, 1 of which is nicotine.

The symptoms generally pass after a couple of weeks. The higher nic during these times will help, as will your new setup. I find that 16-18 mg is a normal vape for me, but sometimes I vape 24 mg. And just wait until you give up analogs.... your senses of taste and smell come back, and cigs smell bad. You won't smell smokey anymore either! :)

Welcome and good luck!

I used to smoke lights, and I started vaping with 24mg. Turns out that wasn't high enough to keep me satisfied unless I chain vape. I've since bumped it up to 36mg and life is good. I don't feel the need to suck on it like a pacifier. That all depends on the juice though, some of them are just too good to put down.
