If you smoked 2 packs a day you'll probably need higher nicotine. 24mg is what a lot of people start with and is considered high nicotine strength. You wont really get that "rush" real cigarettes gave you because you're not getting so many chemicals and the carbon monoxide/dioxide is what gave you the rush in the first place. You can go to 32mg if you can find a vendor that sells it but I'm not sure many would reccommend you go that high.

If you're using a greensmoke, then that's likely your problem right there. No offence but you'll probably want something that lasts longer and hits better. Look into something like a riva Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510 or anything that's not cig size. If you really want one that's cig size, I doubt anything could outperform the volt for its size or price Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Starter Kits

Good luck out there!

I started with a Greensmoke and after a couple days I knew it wasn't enough for me so I sent it back for a full refund. They were very good about everything, it was easy to get the refund. With the money I spent on the GS I ended up getting a 5 volt mod that really hit the spot for me. All I'm saying is that if you have only had your GS for less than 30 days it is very easy to get a full refund. They even refund you for the cartridges that you have used. I'm absolutely sure you can find something more to your likeing and probably cheaper just by asking around on this forum. These people are very willing to give all the advice that you could ask for. Good luck.

The NLA I'm am running right now doesn't say the MG but I'm quite sure it's 16mg. Now the 901 that's on it way, I'm tracking it like santa cross country bringing xmas! It is comeing with 24mg from vaporkings. I also read a good review here & ordered 24mg from madvapes.
I can tell the 16mg now just isn't enough as I must hit it ALL DAY LONG! So the 24mg should be good to back these cravings away.

I started with the 901, nice little unit, however I was changing batteries every few hours. Be sure to have plenty on hand. I finally went to a 900mah battery with a Mach II that I got from Mystmasters.com, it lasts me all day and I just re-charge overnight. I also like the cartridges that come with it as I never get liquid in my mouth with the vents on the side of the reservoir. Good luck with vaping, it will change your life.

24mg juices high in PG should give plenty of hit and be enough nicotine if you vape at least as much as you smoked. try other flavors. Try 80PG/20VG for cartomizers.

re ways nicotine can hurt you (most common effects)

Topical: skin irritation, mainly with 100% PG juices (irritated tongue, mouth, throat, skin around your nose, sinuses, and in extreme cases lungs). Bleeding gums

Other: Increased blood pressure and heart rate. Rapid or irregular heartbeat. Headache. Hazy, dizzy or unwell feeling.

Like you, I smoked 2 packs a day,Marlboro lights as well, sometimes more. I tried 16 at first, then went to 25mg because it didn't seem strong enough. I find I tend to vape more than I actually smoked. At 16mg I could vape all day with no ill effects, but at 25mg I can tell when I have had a bit too much. If your not a chain vapor, a stronger nic solution may be the way to go, but if your like me you may want to stick with a lower nic strength.

Yeah, I started at 18mg a day and at the time it seemed to feel like it was enough, but I was taking entire mouthfuls of vapor to get the hit I needed, and even then I was still vaping very frequently -- probably 4-5ml a day. I've since switched to 24mg and it's just about perfect for me. I don't take such great mouthfuls (maybe 3/4 a mouthful), I get a wonderful throat hit, and I don't chain vape as much, going through about 3ml a day. That turned out to be the answer for me.

I also started out on an eGo, which is what I've been using the whole time (and a 510 with a LR cartos when I want something light to take out on a quick jaunt) so that would also make a difference. Greensmokes are generally overpriced and not very good; even a straight 510 kit would be much cheaper than GreenSmoke and work much better for you, especially if you get yourself a pack of nice Boge cartomizers. You might even find that 18mg works better for you on better hardware -- but honestly, for a 2PAD smoker I'd go for the 24mg. I was a 1PAD smoker of regulars and even I prefer 24mg.

That's right, scare the hell out of the new person. Most common liquid used is 24mg in all PG and the vast majority report no problems but lets still scare the hell out of the new person, anyway.

To the OP: kick the nic strength up to 24mg (you probably are using 16mg currently) and find a better PV. E-Power from either MadVapes or Liberty Flights would be a good option. And do not be "scared off" by posts that do not reflect the experience of the vast majority of those who vape.

I think I am becoming a chain vapor (if that's how you say it). What is not clear to me is what is the downside. So far it works. I am using the strong from green smoke. The have a new longer cartridge and it seems to last at least twice as long as the old one. I noticed that I am more tired lately, could that have anything to do with vaping. also, I think the strength is 24 mg.

There's always alternating. I found that vaping straight 24 or 26 mg. e-liquids was too much nicotine, but vaping 18 mg. e-liquids was too little. I usually have five or six different setups going at the same time, all loaded with different flavors so I don't burn out on any one of them and to keep my cartos reasonably cool. I've learned to order half my e-liquids in 18 mg. strength and half in 24 or 26 mg. strength.

This works for me. Maybe some variation of this strategy will work for you.

Being tired could be the effects from not smoking. Again, a better PV would provide better satisfaction and less need to vape quite as much. Many who smoked as much as you moved to better battery PV's quite quickly and found success. I would suggest you also look at a good 5 volt or variable volt PV. Here is one of the best 5 volt PV's on the market:

5 volt GLV2 or 3: Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor

You will get much warmer vapor, much better consistency and much better battery life.
