Hi,
I have been vaping for awhile now. I started with 32 gauge kanthal wire used it most of the time i vape. I have to vape at 4 ohms or above or its to stimulating. I use 1 mg nicotine. I recently got some 28 gauge wire and I have to make the coils to big to work on smaller decks. I like plenty of vapor but not huge clouds. Does anybody have suggestions for me? Or am I just a wuss?

I wouldn't say you are a wuss. Everyone has a different body chemistry, and things have different effects on different people. What kind of device are you using? If it is variable voltage/wattage, try turning that down. It will reduce the vapor production, and reduce the amount of nicotine you are getting. If that doesn't work, mix one of your bottles of 1mg with a bottle of 0mg of the same flavor. It will make it half the strength, and hopefully tone it down enough for you. Or, better yet, you could just try going with the 0mg of the same flavor and try to ditch nicotine altogether.

I have to agree with speedy_r6, this isn't about wussiness. How many watts are you vaping at?

Wire gauge should roughly match the power (watts) you're vaping at. With thicker wire and lower power you'll tend to have long coil heat up times, with thinner wire and higher power you'll tend to get burnt hits. There are more variables in the mix, but those are the basics and why I'm asking about power.

Are you sure it is 1 mg nic, not 10 mg?

I agree with the above. :) find a variable wattage device so you can set the power level you want. An Istick 20 or 30 will allow you to "turn down the watts" to a certain degree.

iStick20 won't step down below the 4.2v of a fresh battery -- that's why I got a 30w instead. :)
