Nic water has had a long and embattled history of petitions and FDA disapproval in the United States.

the FDA stamped this out years ago. i never even heard about it till i started using the e-cig(2 years ago). but it is still not availible here in the US.
who knows if that will change, i would not count on it though. maybe after e-cigs and other alternatives gain more popularity. the tough part is the FDA would have to reverse their position. how often have they ever admitted they were wrong?

The idea of nicotine water is kind of weird. The human stomach doesn't digest nicotine well - it usually causes nausea - which is one reason why nicotine overdoses by ingestion are rarely serious or fatal. It's also probably the reason why you don't see nicotine pills or why vaping too much, too fast and basically swallowing a lot of the liquid can upset the stomach. So, they'd have to keep the nicotine content in the water REALLY, REALLY low, so people wouldn't just throw it back up!
