nicotine with pg or vg?

i'm so new to this and i'm wondering what i should go with when purchasing nic.. should i go with all pg or all vg. they also have 50 vg and 50 pg. i'm leaning towards the 50-50.. can anybody help me with my delema... please.... so confused....

I like 70-80% PG, plus PG is easier to work with than VG, so my vote is PG. Some people do like 60/40 or 50/50-ish so that isn't a bad choice. Most flavorings are PG so that will change it. Unless you are allergic to PG, I wouldn't get VG.

I just tried my first 100% VG juice yesterday and it is not bad. The flavor comes through well, it is satisfying, and I was impressed. Maybe my tastes just are not sophisicated enough to tell any huge difference among the various "blends", but I enjoyed this 100% VG as much as I have enjoyed 50-50 mixes.

Ditto. I just use 100mg/ml PG and add VG as part of the mixing process. I also don't spend any time working out my final PG/VG ratios because I do not find any value in it. (I use a little, some, or a bunch but the exact ratio is unimportant.)

Your nic measurement needs to be accurate, and PG is easier to measure.

I too buy mine in PG and then add VG at whatever percentage I want.

I buy both, but most commonly use VG for full batches. PG is easier to work with during small <2ml testing.
When 100mg VG received, I cut with distilled water (7-10%) and PGA (0-3%), so I'm working with 90mg base during mixing. Makes the VG much easier to work with and then using a 90mg base. I prefer VG juices.

+1 as well this is exactly what I do because some flavors dont go well with vg at high voltage....just gives it a burnt taste..... at higher watts I noticed that pg burns alot cleaner,...................

Hoping the experienced DIY'ers can help with this question.

I'll be embarking on DIY soon too and was wondering, besides being easier to mix, does the pg nic base also have a longer shelf life (more resistant to spoilage than vg)? I read somewhere that vg goes bad sooner (or can turn rancid after a while, can't remember exactly), but can't find the thread. Does anyone know if that's true? Thanks!

I buy mine in a 100mg VG Base and find my DIY turns out much better, may sound ridiculous but I think its all very subject and there isn't one way that's better than the other it comes down to personal choice, VG Base is mine and I only but 250ml's at a time so I always have fresh Nic, I prefer Fresh Nic to old as well, when I see sales at ridiculously low prices on Nic I know whats up. Only 2 Nic suppliers that get my business is Extremevaping and Crystalclearvaping Both have outstanding Nic quality, high grade, clean, clear Nic. Just my 2 c

The reason I get mine in 100% pg is because I use more pg then vg in my mixes.. plus vg is easy to get at walmart.
