I guess because it requires a prescription and doesn't "look like smoking" it will be exempt from all the pending legislation to protect us from quitting smoking.

[h=3]How does NICOTROL Inhaler work?[/h]NICOTROL Inhaler is a mouthpiece and a plastic cartridge. The cartridge is inserted into the mouthpiece prior to use. To use NICOTROL Inhaler:
inhaler-image.png

  • Inhale deeply into back of throat or puff in short breaths
  • As you inhale or puff through the mouthpiece, nicotine turns into a vapor and is absorbed into your mouth and throat
  • Use Inhaler longer and more often at first to help control cigarette cravings

There is a lot of information online (and in older posts on ECF) comparing the Nicotrol Inhaler to e-cigarettes, but from what I have found the comparisons are on e-cig related sites, I can't find any mention of it on anti-ecig sites, although there must be something somewhere...I hope.

I'm finally cigarette-free after 40 years of smoking, but with the current state of affairs I feel like I'm in a war zone. I have theories about why this has become a hot button issue, but I still can't comprehend it. I am so frustrated and angry I can't think straight. I know I'm preaching to the choir, a big choir, but we have to be LOUDER!

And now for a little something cheery - this is the correct way to use a Nicotrol Inhaler.

It doesn't use PG, does it? I hear that's used in antifreeze and will kill random passersby. Plus batteries kill. No, seriously, Google it.

Yes, as a medical device, it will be exempt from all e-cig legislation. Naturally. But it still looks like smoking to me and should be banned because she put that thing to her mouth and inhaled.

I can't find a list of ingredients, other than nicotine, anywhere.

I think children should be protected from seeing someone with a feminine hygiene product in their mouth. God knows what it might lead to!

It looks too much like "smoking" to me! Think of the children...:vapor::p

The children are forefront in my mind! I think I'll have them write cute kid letters to congress about how they think those bad smoking people should be put in jail. They can use these really cute pens sold on Amazon.

I'm worried about the kids again. I packed their lunches before I had my morning coffee and I wasn't quite awake. I think I made a mistake when I filled their thermoses. I'm afraid if I call the school I'll get reported to CPS. I don't think about a cup of this will hurt them, do you?

Oh good. It's not just me.

Awesome video, I wonder why they call it an inhaler though since the product is not meant to be inhaled and wasn't tested that way. Loved the part about how, if you get a dry sensation in your mouth or throat, you can drink water to relieve that. I wonder if we'll need a separate rx for the water though and if they will make a separate video explaining how to do that.

Rickajho you are forgetting the primary objective of the tobacco control camp: Smokers must be humiliated. They would allow us to just use our vapes if only we'd stop enjoying it so much and making it look cool. In order to properly submit to society, the first step is getting us to surrender the cool kids club that is and always was smoking. It infuriates them that we created our own subculture of smoking cessation that they aren't controlling and making a profit from. They gave us gum and patches, we flipped them the bird and created mods and flavors.
