Night out in bars and vaping

Hi guys

I'll start by saying I've been vaping for almost a month now and love it! I've still been having a cheeky smoke here and there more recently only when I've been drinking but im trying to cut that out all week I don't need an analog but when it gets to the weekend and I have a drink then bam! I'll get smokes off a friend sometimes in the night and I want to try a night where I only vape while I drink!

Was just wondering what everyone's set up would be when your out on a heavy drinking night? I ask this as I'm heading out for a proper big night out on saturday I'll be at clubs/bars and thinking it might be a pain to carry my cartotank around and there would be too many questions asked when I get it out plus people might think its some crack pipe or something haha but then if I just have a clearomiser or carto then it will run out too quick! :/

How do you guys find it when your out at clubs and stuff using big stuff like tanks etc? Or do you stick to just cartos? Lemme know as I would love to have a heavy drinking night and not smoke so I can properly get off the analogs! Any help would be great thanks guys

When I'm out in the public eye I use a cigalike with cartos filled with my choice for the day. I will usually take along 2-3 spare cartos and 2 cigalike batteries.

You haven't been vaping long, so it's normal to feel a bit sketchy about vaping in public with what appears to be some sort of drug paraphernalia. I'd say vape away with your preferred gear, and be prepared for some awkward looks. I've never had anybody ask me about mine when I vape in public, but I'm happy to show it to somebody and explain why I prefer it over analogs if they do.

Yeah I still feel like its smoking sometimes so I treat it like that sometimes, saw some dude in the pub last weekend vaping away proud and happy he could do it inside with a cig a like he was happy until I showed him my pv with a huge carto tank on top and just said 'the upgrade' haha guess it just feels weird to being vaping in these places and when out at the bar don't want girls thinking

I think I will slowly get to that point where im not worried at all with it my work friend just raised a good question, if I bring my ego battery with my big cartotank on top of it into the club (even if I only vape it in the designated smoking areas) the bouncers may not believe its an e cig due to it looking dodgy and could kick me out? :S lol sorry im a little worried about this haha

If a club kicked me out for vaping in the smoking area, I wouldn't go there again. Simple as that. Most of the bars/clubs in London are pretty familiar with e-cigs these days and I've never had a problem. I was in a bar on Rathbone Place the other day and they had two "cigarette girls" selling Joysticks. Don't really agree with the product and the way they're marketing it, but that's for another thread!

My personal experience was similar to yours. The longer you vape the more comfortable you are with your gear in public places. When I'm out and about I usually sport an ego twist and and kanger protank. The police have walk past me while I was vaping and never said a word, at least to me. But, as mentioned, some people may question what it is, which you can tell them.

yeah was alright on saturday when I was out, I did get quite drunk and ended up smoking a few analogs transitation is hard on a weekend on the weekdays im fine and dont need an analog at all! lol but yeh one of the bouncers on the way in i had to empty all my pockets out and I had my riva battery with a cartomizer on with the cone for looks and i had my carto tank wrapped in a tissue just in my pocket (so it didnt leak all over my pocket if it did i havent had any issues yet though) bouncer was like unwrap your snot tissue which I had to explain what exactly it was and he had to discuss it with the other bouncer but seemed fine and let me in lol all in all an interesting night but now i dont have a problem vaping in public as it was fine on sat
