Hey guys,

So I recently bought a nimbus atomizer from my vape shop based on a recommendation, I also purchased two iTaste MVP 2.0s. When I recoil my nimbus with 2mm silica wick and 32 gauge kanthal I do 3 wraps on each coil and ohm out to about 1.1. So i dripped it and the taste and throat hit is great, but i'm not getting any good vapor production, literally almost any. The air hole (singular) is standard whatever it is drilled out too. So I got 28 gauge kanthal coming in the mail this week and I bought some cotton balls (based on some videos I've seen). Would you guys say that microcoils are the way to go? also what ohms should I be aiming at, and should I drill out another hole, or just make this one bigger. And finally, at what width should the hole be? Also, I get sometimes harsher throat hits where it doesnt feel like a natural vape but rather tickles my throat extremely and makes me cough, why is that?

Thanks!

I drill my single holes to 1/16. Just try the one micro coil first. And yes you do need two holes for two coils. If you decide to go that route instead drill a second hole. The easiest way is to take the top cap off. Drill through the already made hole. And keep going until the back wall. Keep it straight and you should have two holes same height and 180° from eachother. Yes to the micro coil. I would shoot for 1.2ohm. And the scratchy throat hit is because the coils position. Try to keep it level with the air hole and closer to the air hole. You should be able to look through the air hole and see the middle of the coil.
