Just the idea of placing my last vape order is scary and sad. The hardware is just one part. I don't think I would've continued vaping without support and guidance from y'all.

Right? I feel the same way. Still hoping for a miracle. September miracle. FDA approving thousands of PMTAs, new vaping stores opening all over the country! :)

Good to see you again, Aik. Long time! Hope you're doing well!

Vaping didn't help me to quit smoking, but it did help me to not start again. I had the flu(no not that flu) in the spring of 2019 that laid me up for a few days. Didn't smoke during the time I was sick, and didn't pick up the cigarettes again after I felt better. I'd smoked for 25 years, since I was 15, and figured it was time. My wife and my wallet agreed.

I'd tried quitting at various times but always ended up going back. I could feel myself sliding in that direction again. My wife and I had tried vaping before I quit smoking but it didn't quite take. But I still had supplies and so I started vaping whenever I felt a need for a tobacco cigarette.

Two years later and I only touch cigarettes voluntarily when drinking. That works out to only a few times a year. I've also been weening the nicotine levels down. Started at 2.4%(24mg) and am now at 0.6%(6mg).

My only vaping regret is that I didn't branch out to more vendors sooner. For almost the entirety of my vaping time, I've bought from Vapor4Life. It wasn't until the past couple months that I started diversifying.

I can’t imagine what you feel and I can only go based on my own experience and I’m coming up on my 3 year vapeversary 7 months before my daughter was born, I a skeptical 34 year old man (at the time) who had smoked cigarettes for 18 years of my life would accidentally quit smoking by means of a seemingly meaningless trade, A 25” flatscreen TV with a built in DVD player for a kangertech mod and top tank with a couple bottles of ejuice and a few coils and the rest writes itself! I was not a smoker anymore and overnight I became a enthusiast to a product that I thought was solely a BIG TOBACCO ploy to find a new dangerous invention to hook the smokers on. Well color me stupid for ever thinking such nonsense and now as in right now I find myself lost and depressed because it feels like I’m a 7 year old boy about to watch his best friend move away again. I can’t explain the corruption I have witnessed and I feel like the world has no idea that there are forces at work steeling freedoms every day and it’s as if no one cares but me!

    Best trade ever made!

I have a hard time getting into ecf, web or tapatalk. Dunno why. Crazy-making

How many times have we thought this was coming to an end, only to be saved, again and again? UShip is advertising to ship vapor products. Innokin announced they got a pmta approval (reddit). I know I have more stashed than I'll ever use (just not what I want now). But what hurts vaping the most is the lack of encouragement; ex-smoker to smoker.

There are literally tens of millions of US Citizens that are either going to keep smoking or lose the benefit of vaping and have little to nowhere to go because of fewer than 1,500 boneheads in Washington, DC, and our State Capitals.

    THE MIND BOGGLES!

Two and a half weeks ago was my 10 year vapeversary. A decade since I smoked a cigarette.

I don't think they're going to make it impossible to vape. Instead they're going to set it up to make a fortune taxing it. That'll keep a lot of people from trying it. And punish whoever they have to to get their pound of flesh.

It really is sickening that we live in a country that is so unbelievably corrupt.

They can't tax what we can't buy. Between vape mail ban and the PMTA process, what will be left for us to buy? Aside from black market items, which they get no tax on.

Vape shops will remain open and are able to sell, at least through September.

After that, I guess we can only wait and guess.

Everything that gets a PMTA approval and is sold in a vape shop can be heavily taxed. Covering all the bases.

In my working years every factory/local mens' bar had a "Bacciman" as we called them in Scotland - place order for black market hand rolling tobacco or cigarettes on Tuesdays, collect and pay on Fridays.

I wonder if the Bacciman will be replaced by the Vapeman or "Steamer"?

Only Bijou Problemette with that is that in Scotland to be "steamboats" or "steamin'" means to be drunk!

I suspect steamer could be problematic in some places here or there. Another problematic one being Cleveland.

But I still prefer "steamer" where it doesn't pose a problem.

NEVER would I have guessed I'd be watching this heart-wrenching destruction of the life saving, life changing, and truly amazing thing that came to be called "Vape".

The onslaught of daily emails, most by names of companies/people I've been following and supporting for years, is literally ripping my guts out. I try to put myself into their positions and I cannot. The sacrifice, the money, the time, the sheer excitement (back when) of doing something SO phenomenally different from anything that had come before...

To those who are securing PMTA acceptance, that's great. Unfortunately, the taste in my mouth remains sour.

I'm not going to list all the names here and now. We all know the carnage, and each of us has our own story to tell. The bottom line is that it's a tragedy on SO many levels. Health, economics, freedom, humanity (etc., etc., etc.).

Most of all though, it's a truly horrific tragedy for everyone who changed their lives to begin down a road that should have been paved with nothing but success. The vast majority of which didn't do it for fame or fortune, but instead to change the world for the better. They paved the way, and showed many of us how to follow. Answering all of our questions, and walking us through, one crazy device, topper, or juice at time.

I know this is just a bunch of gibberish, but I guess I just can't find words to convey how :censored:ing heartbreaking this is to watch. I also know I'm just one in a vast sea of vapers who feel the same way.

    That is all.

    {sigh}

    Beautifully said :?:
