lol no bro im assuming the fuses or just the board inside its got major rattle in it now and it happened when I was replacing a batter after I picked it up

Don't plug it back in. Fuses don't tend to rattle around, unless they used cheap glass fuses. What might be possible is that one of the transistors on the inside exploded (it can happen for many reasons). At any rate, if it's giving off a burnt smell, something on the inside is most likely shot. If you have a warranty, I'd see if you can get it replaced.

Da last freaking thing we need here, as a vaping community, is a 'drama queen'!!!

I seriously doubt you're gonna garner much sympathy here. Da only thing that blows is...

maybe your buddy sold you a knockoff charger ... thinking you wouldn't notice ... does he mostly sell cheap clones or high end gear?

It happens with all electronics, you will find fried electronics happening on anything, especially in the first few days/weeks, regardless of cost or perceived quality. The better brands will have a lower rate of failure but none of them are zero. Nitecore are considered one of the better chargers but as as you have found out, **** happens.

Unfortunately it does. And like Ref Minor said, usually when it's new. I had a bad charger and a few bad ego batteries go bad and it was when they were brand new.

Good that where you purchased from is taking care of it for you.
