According to this site, one of the features of the chip is:

"Boot loader, gives a possibility to update firmware online, so not needed to buy “next version” mods."

Cool.

Nivel chip « Vapeporn

Online will download firmware (eventually ;)) and must have appropriate PIC programmer, to unsolder the chip, to reprogramming it, to solder it back....or maybe there is 3-4-5 pinouts to make some interface cables for upload firmware ..... not so easy ;)

Lexi - Nivel...

Aluminum alloy case and end caps. Dual 18350 AW IMR batts in parallel - 1400mAh with 11.2A discharge current. I got 13 hours of vaping time running a 1.5 ohm DCC at 14 Watts before needing a charge.

I got to use my Lexi for one day then my daughter took off with it to vape with it and to show her friends.

USB input for charging/passthrough / 3 LEDs with 30%, 70%, 100% batt status / flashlight...

I epoxied the USB output hole using steel epoxy. Didn't want it to be used or tempted to use it. I also desoldered and removed the small tactile switch from the charging board (was located to the left of the batt status LEDS). The switch was raised a bit and activated when setting the mod down. So I wired a round silver tactile switch as a replacement and placed it on the lower front of the case.

2 Lexis were mailed to Russ from Click-Bang today. One for a contest. Listen to VPLive for contest info. Good luck to everyone who enters the contest! :toast:
